Lorelei's POV:

I pull out my phone to see a text.

Come to the bedroom
- Nik

My nerves buzz a little bit. I had a feeling this was coming. I'd been a little too mouthy with Nik so far today.

I take a deep breath and walk through the living room and into a small hallway with a door at the end. I go up to the door and knock gently. Nik opens the door and gestures for me to walk in which I do.

"Kneel." He commands as he shuts the door and I obey instantly

"It seems to me that you need a reminder who is in charge." He says as he circles around me

He walks around the room looking through drawers for something. It takes him a moment and once he find it he walks back over to me.

There's a paddle in his hand.

He extends his right hand, helping me up and walks me over to the bed.

"Bend over love. I'm giving you 20 for your mouth today."

My nerves are buzzing and I bend down slowly.

I'd been pushing his buttons all day today and I knew something was coming. I just didn't expect this.

"Remember you can use the safe words if you need to baby." He says gently

"I know. I will if I need." I say

I hear him get into position behind me and I inhale and hold it, anticipating the blow but it doesn't come for a moment.

SMACK!

I use the mattress to muffle my cry as I grip the comforter.

Fuck that hurt.

We'd practiced some impact play to get a feel for my pain tolerance and it's pretty good. The good part about being a wolf, faster healing than humans. If it wasn't for that I'd probably be coated in bruises by now from all our rough scenes.

Another hard smack brings me back to my present situation. The stinging pain lingers for a long moment and as it starts to subside, Nik runs his fingertips along the tender skin making me inhale sharply.

"Breathe baby."

He waits until I take a few deep breaths.

"Ready?" He asks
"Yes Master."

SMACK!

"Who do you belong to love?"
"You Master!"
"That's right and you'd do well to remember it."

SMACK!

"That mouth of yours is going to keep getting into trouble if you're not careful." He says

SMACK!

I have a safe word if the scene gets to be too much. Well, technically I have two. Blue pauses the scene in case one of us needs a moment to catch our breath or readjust. Red ends the scene completely and we move into aftercare.

Aftercare is what always ends the scene. This is nonnegotiable. It can be anything from basic cuddles to body massages, something that helps us decompress and readjust to normal.

Once the scene ends, I lie on Nik's chest listening to his heartbeat as I come down. I smile and trace my fingers along his tattoo, a feather disintegrating and morphing into little birds.

I got my first tattoo recently of a dragonfly on my left arm. I used to find them all the time in the woods and found them to be beautiful.

I had to go to a special tattoo shop, one for supernaturals since we heal quicker than an average human.

"How do you feel?" Nik asks
"I'm great baby. You?"
"Perfect."
