Hayley's POV:
"Hope!" I yell out into the house
No sound of little feet. No baby giggles.
It's completely silent.
When I woke up a few minutes ago, I walked over to her bed to wake her up and get ready for the day like I did every day.
She wasn't there.
I had this sense that told me immediately that something wasn't right. As I check room by room and don't see her, this bad feeling seems to be correct.
Klaus appears moments later, drawn by my shouting. He looks at me confused.
"What happened?" He asks
"Is Hope with you?" I ask
"No I thought she was still sleeping. I haven't seen her since last night."
"Freya? Elijah? Nobody has her?" I ask as the panic starts rising even moreI rush through rooms, moving at top speed.
"She's gone Klaus. She's not here! I woke up and she's gone! I've checked her room, my room, the closet, the bathroom-" I panic trailing off as I continue to look around frantically for my baby girl
Klaus springs into action and together we quickly check every crack and crevice of the home to no success.
She's not here.
Freya runs in and tells us that the barrier is down.
They snuck in here and stole my baby.
Only someone capable of strong magic could take that barrier down.
No. Not someone.
Kira.
How could none of us have noticed? How could I not have noticed, only a few dozen feet away? With a crazy witch on the loose, I knew to keep my guard up! Oh God...
We all take off into the streets but there's nothing. No clues. No messages mentioning demands or traps in place, just average New Orleans activities. We compelled so many bystanders I lost count but no one seemed to catch a glimpse of Hope or Kira.
If Freya can't find her...No I can't think like that. Hope needs us right now.
Klaus and I head right over to Freya's room. She's got a vial of blood and a map out.
"I heard you calling for her." Freya says
Before she can start the spell, a piece of paper appears out of thin air and floats down to the table. Freya grabs it and her eyes go wide when she reads what it says.
"What is it?" Klaus demands
"She says she wants a trade. Hope for Dahlia." She answers
"That's impossible. She's dead. If Kira's been alive this entire time, she should know that." I say
"I'm going to rip her head from her body." Klaus snaps
"You can't do that." I tell him
"I assure you Little Wolf I am more than capable." He growls
"We have to figure this out." I say
"No we need to go find our daughter! I'll kill everyone in this city if it means she is safe!" Klaus yells
"Klaus!" I snapHe stops his ranting and focuses on me.
"We can't just go in there and start ripping people apart. Hope is in there. If Kira finds out Dahlia is dead , there is nothing to stop her from killing Hope."
"This doesn't make any sense." Klaus says angrily but he's stopped shouting
"I can't just raise Dahlia from the dead." Freya says thinking out loud
"That would be a death sentence." Klaus agrees
"Could we fake it?" I askNobody has an answer.
Another piece of paper appears.
"It's an address." Freya says
Klaus and I lock eyes.
"Let's go."
