St. Louis State Forrest Arkansas
Hanging out in St. Louis for awhile.
Looking for a place to lay low and stay awhile.
The lake is nice.
No hunters allowed.
I stay around during the day a little bit towards the end of the day around sunset to make sure everyone leaves. I watch from the woods, the distance is no trouble for my eyes.
The first few days I was here, I tracked the ranger movements so I wouldn't accidentally cross paths with anyone while I hunted. The good thing about this place, once the sun sets, the gate is locked with chains.
No risk of human casualties.
Update:
I've been here a few months. Got into a few fights with some foxes and a bear or two but otherwise, it's quite peaceful.
There's a pack of wolves around here so I have to stay clear. I have to be careful around where I hunt.
Sticking towards the southern side of the forest for now.
I would've loved to stay in the Appalachians but the wolf pack there is growing so I'm steering clear. Might go back in the fall.
