I looked at her surprisedly. I think she just got me more angry. Did she just call me a kid? Does she even know what happened? I can't believe this is happening right now. I held her arm to stop her from talking further but she dropped my hand.
"Can't you tell she's just a baby?" She continued.
Why is Miss Sarocha doing this? Is she about to apologize on my behalf? Why isn't she taking my side? I hate that I am expecting so much from her when we are not even friends.
"Miss Sarocha this is no more funny" I said trying to stop her but she ignored me.
"Maybe she needs some manners. I think it's better we settle this in the police station and probably in court. I mean, I also would like to meet her dad as well" the man continued.
"No please. You're taking this too far. Let's settle this amicably here." She said to them trying to calm them down.
"What the hell?!" I tried agitating.
"Okay. I need you to keep shut!" She said shutting me out
My goodness! I can't believe this. She then turned to them and started apologizing on my behalf. Why does it hurt so much? I feel so sad that she is doing this. I tried stopping her again but this time she held me on the hand.
"Let's go" she said while grabbing my wrist.
"We are so sorry for all the troubles. Please ignore her manners" she continues as she drags me out of the room to the parking lot.
"Let me go!!" I screamed while trying to free my hand from her hold.
She let go of my hand instantly when we got to the parking lot. My emotions are everywhere. I am angry over what I heard the organizers saying, angry that Miss Sarocha just apologized on my behalf and so sad that Irin might get depressed over this because she put in her everything in this audition.
"What was that Miss Sarocha?" I asked angrily.
"No what was that Miss Armstrong? Have you lost your mind??" She yelled back.
"Hey watch it. You don't talk to me like that if you still love your job" I yelled.
"I just saved your ass from getting into trouble, you should at least be grateful for that"
"What kind of trouble, they are the ones in trouble for deceiving lots of people!"
"And what evidence do you have?"
"What?" I said weakly.
I became disappointed instantly. Even her too? She is like this also? She doesn't believe me and she thinks I made it up too?
"Do you know the weight of this? You just going to lay accusation based on hearsay? Do you think your dad can fight this alone if they come for you? You think he can fight the sponsors of the show?"
"No sweetheart, I don't think so. So you better get in the car and I will drive you back home" She continued.
Silence.
To be honest I don't know what to say anymore. Not because what she did was right but because I can't explain why she's like this. She let out a sigh after some minutes of silence.
"I know you are angry because your friend got affected but you would have ended up in the station if I hadn't done what I just did."
"Your dad never really liked your friend. He told me to personally keep you away from her because she has only brought more damages to your life than good. What do you think your dad would say if he finds out you got into this trouble because of her?"
