"Miss Sarocha, what will it cost me to go on a more romantic date with you." Mr. Kamnan said looking at me in the eyes.
Did he just ask me that? Why do they always ask for a more romantic date after the blind date? I thought only women do that since all my blind dates were women. And Mr. Kamnan is my first blind date with a man.
Mr. Kamnan held my hand tightly while brushing his thumb on it. He's looking at me in this eyes which I am actually so uncomfortable with. Why is he like this? I will kill Heng as soon as I get home for hooking me up with someone who can't get their emotions in check in a blind date. But for now, I need to act cool. I faked a smile at him and he smiled back.
"I agreed with this blind date to make my mum happy. To be honest, my mum was the one that did all this" he said.
She was? That makes the two of us because my cousin did all these as well.
"I have been busy with business that I had no zero romantic life. But looking at you right now, I think this blind date is not bad at all." He continued.
I can't with him flirting with me right now. Seems this night is going to be a long one. I like him, he's cool but come on, I didn't sign up for this. I looked back at where Miss Armstrong is seated. Why am I so affected that she didn't tell me she would be hanging out tonight? She then excused herself and started walking towards the restroom. I tried focusing on what Mr. Kamnan was saying but I couldn't. I decided to follow her to the restroom.
"Sorry Mr. Kamnan, I will be back soon" I excused myself to the restroom.
I got inside the restroom to see her standing beside the mirror. Her two hands are on the vanity as she grips on them tightly as if trying to stay calm or something. Is she alright?
"Hey are you okay?" I finally asked curiously.
She didn't answer but I can hear her wheezing slightly. She obviously is not okay. I was about walking to her when she fell on her knees. I can't explain how worried I got on seeing that. Why did I almost get a heart attack on seeing her like that?
"Becky!!" I screamed out of fear and ran to her.
I held her from behind and pulled her into my arms. She's struggling to breath and I wonder why. She held my arms tightly while looking at me.
"I can't breath" she mumbled.
"Hey! I got you. I got you" I said trying to be as calm as possible.
Staying calm in this situation is best for her. I saw a medication for panic attack the first day I was in their house. I didn't bother to ask because I thought it wasn't necessary. It's obvious now that the medication was for her?
"Do you have your pills?" I asked calmly and she shook her head.
"Okay it's fine. I am here. You will be fine"
I made her sit properly while resting her back on the wall. I cupped her cheeks so she can focus on me. Her eyes are teary and sad. I hate to see her beautiful eyes like this.
"I need you to breath with me okay? Do not pay attention to what is happening to you right now. Just look at me and breath with me" I said looking straight into her eyes.
She nodded and followed my lead. Her hands are on my arms, gripping tightly on the both of them as she breaths with me. Breathing in through our noses and breathing out with our mouths.
"You're doing great sweetheart"
I am still cupping her cheeks while she continues breathing until little by little her breathing started normalizing and after a while, it was fully back to normal.
