Better This Way

But before I could finish, a heavy blow landed on my lips. Shit that hurts. She just punched me. What the hell? I tried punching her back but she was faster and landed another one on my nose making me go dizzy and I fell backwards.  The bar girl clenched her fist to hit me again but...

"No! Nam Stop that!" I can hear a lady's voice saying as she walks towards us.

My eyes are closing gradually. I can feel the blood from my nose running into my mouth.

"What was that Nam? Why did you hit the girl?" The sweet voice continued as she got closer.

She held the bar girl by the arm to stop her from hitting me any further. She turned to me and for a second I was lost in her beauty. Today must be my lucky day since I only meet beautiful women.

I am having a blurry vision of her because my mind is shutting down but I can still tell how beautiful she must be. I can't see her face properly but it shines so bright like the sun.

"She needs to be taught a lesson" the bar girl said.

"It's so painful" I muttered and finally closed my eyes into a deep sleep. No not sleep, I fainted.

Heng and I drove from the prison yard straight to the bar where Nam works to hang out. We were at our usual spot having fun when Saints and Kade came in. It turns out Tom has an information for us. We needed to call Nam also, so Heng went to get her. 

After some minutes Heng was back but we started hearing a noise from outside and we came out to see. It's Nam and this girl in her early 20s. I don't know what happened between them but Nam just punched the girl in the nose and she fell. That punch was too heavy for a girl of that age. Why did she do that? Nam clenched her fist to punch her again but I stopped her.

I started walking close to them. She is bleeding now and I'm sure she's about to pass out.

"What was that Nam? Why did you hit the girl?" I said when I got close. 

I am holding Nam by the arm to calm her down. Looks like this girl really pissed her off. I turned and looked worriedly at the girl. That must have hurt a lot, no way that nose isn't broken.

"She needs to be taught a lesson" Nam said.

What exactly did the girl do because the Nam I know doesn't hit people. Only Kade is the impatient one in the group.

"It's so painful" the girl muttered and finally closed her eyes.

I looked back at Nam. She knows we shouldn't create any scene like this because working here is important to us. How can she get so pissed off to hit a customer?

"I am sorry" she simply said.

I let out a sigh. She knows we still need her here. The CEO of Mr. Armstrong's empire is a regular here and she needs to hook up with him.

Saints carried the girl inside and laid her on the couch. He started cleaning her wounds to stop the bleeding. After some minutes she woke up. The room only has dim lights so she probably can't see our faces clearly.

"You punched me in the nose" she said to Nam who is sitting next to her and tried getting up but Nam held her and made her sit back.

"I am sorry darling. It was completely a mistake" Nam apologized.

"A mistake? My lips and nose are wounded and you call that a mistake?" The girl continued.

Silence

"You have a terrible temper. Does your management know?" She said.
