Makayla
Ron is still up there in the branches. That's when I remember the name of the branches that were trying to kill us: Devil's Snare.
I know that Ron has no chance of getting out of the Devil's Snare in any way, so I decide to step in. Taking my wand out, I shout, "Lumos Salem!"
A bright bulge of sunlight emits from my wand as the Snare shrieks and cries, dropping Ron down here. He screams as he falls, ending with an annoying grunt.
He quickly stood up, "Woo! Lucky we didn't panic!"
"Good thing Hermione, Katelyn, and Makayla pay attention in Herbology," Harry states.
In the corner of my ear, I hear distant flapping, almost like wings. All of us turn in that direction.
"What is that?" Hermione asks.
"Sounds like wings," Harry replies. Bitch, I said that.
We walk toward the sound and walk into a wide room with a broom floating in the middle of it. I walk in a half circle around the broom and then look up to see keys with wings flying around in the air.
"Guys, look," we all look at Hermione. She's pointing at an old door. "Maybe one of those keys can unlock this door."
I look up and lift my wand to the ceiling, "Accio key."
Nothing comes. Damn it.
Louis walks up and says the same spell, with the same outcome as if it would've worked for him. I roll my eyes and look at the broom.
"Maybe someone needs to catch a key by flying on the broom," I say. I look up and see everyone with their fingers on their noses. "Oh come on–why me?"
"You're the oldest!" Ann says.
"Louis is older!"
"I don't know how to fly a broom," Louis shrugs.
I roll my eyes and slowly walk toward the broom. Here goes nothing.
