Makayla
I walk toward the Slytherin Common Room. Louis is following me again. What is it with him and following people? He does know that it's creepy, correct? Good God, man. He's so weird.
I continue to walk to the Common Room, ignoring his constant calling of my name. Not my full name, just my last name, like usual. He grabs my hand and turns me around, "Look at me, Malfoy!"
So I do. Why am I listening to Louis Lupin? Ugh. Gross.
"Are you okay?" he pursues. The question catches me off guard. So off guard, I don't know how to respond, so I just stare at him like an idiot. He gives me an odd face as he waits for my response.
Sighing, I hiss, "Yes, now can you please let go of my arm?"
He lets go and I continue walking to the room. Behind me, I hear him call out, "Why are things so difficult with you?" I turn back to him, not knowing what to say. "I just want to help, Makayla."
That's not my normal name, not for him; What is happening?—To me, to him, to us?
"What your brother said wasn't right." I think I noticed Lupin. "Just talk to me."
Right now, it's hard to acknowledge what he said because of how stupid he looks. I don't talk to anyone. He must know that by now.
Louis
She's so pretty when she's just there alone. She is probably thinking I look stupid right now for wanting her to talk to me, but it's worth half a shot.
There's a long pause in between my question and her answer, "No."
She walks into the Slytherin Common Room and walks upstairs to her bedroom. I should've seen that coming honestly. If she was thinking I look stupid, she wasn't completely wrong.
Annelise
Kai makes it even more awkward than it already is once Louis and Makayla walk out and says, "Jeez, they might as well make out already."
Gross. Draco, Halston, Jordyn, Mattheo, and I all show our disgust by shoving our food away.
Upon saying that, Kai put the image of those two actually making out in my head, which is even more gross than the idea itself. He wouldn't exactly be wrong, though.
Louis positively likes Makayla, as I've brung up before. He's lucky that I haven't let the secret slip yet, not that I would do that . . . I'm great at keeping secrets!
Note from Louis: About that . . .
But that doesn't mean that she would ever like him back in the first place. Her feelings for him are not sweet, more like sour.
Note from Louis: HEY.
Now I can say, she has started getting a little bit nicer to him these past two years, but Jordyn and I could only get her to be nice to him for a week last year at the end. She struggled. It was very dramatic.
Hopefully one of them will become mature teenagers one day and just reason their differences so I can have a peaceful day without hearing Louis complain about Makayla or hearing Makayla shout about some of the many things that Louis does that aggravates her. I just want: peace. But no one could ever give me that apparently.
Note from Makayla: The fact that I can HEAR your eye roll HELP–
A/N: Okay guys, I'm so sorry that this is so short, I literally couldn't fit anything else into this chapter without making it completely boring. But don't worry because the chapters are all else going to be long because I've been perfecting my writing strategy and have been coming up with strategies to make my chapters longer. Except, I didn't do it with this chapter because I was lazy. Anyway! Don't forget to keep voting, commenting, sharing, etc! It helps me a lot
