For the final game, Blaise and I are against Hermione and Ron. The game is easy to win, as were the rest of them.

When the game is over, Ann, Hermione, Ron, Harry, Fred, and George sneak back to their common rooms. Blaise goes to our room, and Jordyn goes to her, Makayla, and Jules' room. Makayla stays behind to pick up the cups that had fallen on the ground, and the ping-pong balls that had rolled around the floor during the game.

I stand there awkwardly for a few moments as she picks up the items and sets them in a stack on the table, then she looks up at me, "Aren't you going to bed with Blaise to 'celebrate your victory?'"

I chuckle, scratching the back of my head, "Uh, no. I'm not tired."

She nods and finishes cleaning the cups and balls. I find a crunched up cup on the ground near my feet, so I pick it up and hand it to her as she stands up.

Smiling, she takes it, "Thanks." She grabs the cups from the table and gently tosses them in the trash, then piles the ping-pong balls into the original plastic bag. "Well, good night!"

She starts toward the stairs as I go to say something. In my mind, the words come out, but in reality, I watch her walk upstairs with my mouth hung open with no words hanging out of it. How pathetic is that?

The next day, Makayla, Jordyn, and I are eating our breakfast in the Great Hall. Louis is nowhere to be found. He's probably sleeping in again. It's most likely true. That bitch is a sleepy head.

Note from Louis: Burn.

Anyway, that aside, Mr. Filch's petrified cat has everyone in the castle spooked. At least, almost everyone. The Malfoys, including Makayla, all seemed completely unbothered. I hate to say this, but I wouldn't be surprised if they all had something to do with it.

When Transfiguration comes around, everyone in our class, which is Hermione, Harry, Ron, Makayla, Louis, Jordyn, Jordyn's brother Mattheo, Alistari, Draco, and a bunch of other second and third year students, is completely uninterested in the lesson. Professor McGonagall blabs about random facts about Transfiguration, meanwhile, we're thinking about other things, like the Chamber of Secrets.

Makayla raises her hand, in which McGonagall replies with, "Yes, Ms. Malfoy? Do you have a question?"

"Slightly," Makayla lowers her hand, "I was wondering if you could tell us about... the Chamber of Secrets?" She has more bravery than I ever could, that's for sure.

The professor looks around the room to see all of us looking at her, awaiting an answer. She sighs, "Oh, very well." She sets her book down, and gently clasps her hands together. "So, you all have heard the story of how Hogwarts was founded, with the four most powerful wizards of the age, Godrick Gryffindor, Helena Hufflepuff, Ruena Ravenclaw, and Salazar Slytherin. Together, these four wizards founded Hogwarts. However, one of these wizards wanted to keep the school's acceptances restricted to only pure wizards, otherwise known as Pure bloods."

"I'll give you two tries to guess which," I hear Ron whisper to Harry behind me.

"Salazar Slytherin believed that the teaching of magic should be restricted to Pure bloods, and in reaction to the disagreement of the other wizards, Salazar Slytherin left Hogwarts," she slowly paces the room as she tells the story. "According to legend, Salazar Slytherin left a chamber within the walls of the castle. It is said that this chamber withholds the key to restricting magic to Pure bloods."

"What does this chamber hold?" Hermione asks.

"The chamber is said to hold a monster," Professor McGonagall replies. This causes whispers to break out throughout the classroom. "The castle has been searched numerous times. No such chamber has been found."

I look at Makayla and Jordyn, who are sitting together, and they look at me with the same questioning expression. Then I look to Louis, who is also giving me the same look.

I look at my fingers as I contemplate what the professor has just told us. The beast within the Chamber of Secrets, as it sounds like, only targets non-pure bloods. This isn't looking good for Louis, Harry, Hermione, and I. It isn't looking good for anyone.

The Chamber has been opened, as seen with the proof being Mr. Filch's cat, and the writing on the wall. Everyone is in danger. Is there any way of stopping it? From what I've heard, it doesn't sound like it.

Note from Louis: Yeah, but you're stupid, so shut up and stop being emo.
