Louis
We walk into the common room. She thought I was following her at first, and I won't deny that I was. I was also going to the common room, but not only to pack my things.
As Makayla begins to pack her things, she looks at me, "Aren't you going to pack?"
"Oh right," I say as I go to my dormitory.
It doesn't take me very long to pack my things up. All I have to do is flick my wand and my stuff goes into the trunk. Of course, I use a hidden extension charm so that I can fit everything into it, then I flip the latches and walk into the main common room.
Jordyn and Makayla are talking. It must be about something funny because Makayla is laughing softly. Draco runs down the stairs past me. He looks happy to be out of this castle. I can't blame him, but there's always some extraordinary feeling about this place.
"Makayla, when are mother and father going to get here?" Draco asks frantically. She sighs, pausing her and Jordyn's conversation, and turns to him, "They pick us up at the train station, like they did last year for Kai, Kirsten, Chase, and I, if you didn't know. It's not that hard to pay attention, y'know?"
He rolls his eyes and walks out of the common room with his trunk. Jordyn and Makayla look at each other and burst into laughter.
I swiftly walk out of the common room, going to the courtyard with my trunk. The only thing I have to wait for to get home is Annie, so I'm gonna be here for an hour.
Ann runs out of the castle with her two trunks because she had to bring twice as many things that she needed to. "I'm here!"
"I noticed," I chuckle.
She rolls her eyes, "Where's Makayla?"
"Probably trying to find her cat for the hundredth time this year."
"Cat? I wanna meet her cat!"
"No! You're allergic, dimwit!"
"Oh yeah! I forgot about that," she chuckles.
Speaking of Makayla, I see Makayla walk out of the castle, talking to Jordyn with her siblings, Kai, Chase, and Kirsten, following her. It seems that I was correct, as Makayla is holding Mackerel close so she doesn't lose him again. She loses him so much, how does she claim to love him?
Note from Makayla: I hate you.
Kai and her are arguing for the twentieth time this year. It's surprising that they didn't argue more this year. They normally argue more than her and I do, which is a lot.
"That's not fair!" I hear Kai shout.
"Well too bad! Mother said I could!" Makayla shouts back.
"It's my room!"
"Not anymore!"
I hold in my laughter as I question walking over to them. Should I? I don't know . . . They seem a bit preoccupied at the moment. I would like to say bye to Makayla. Does she even still hate me anymore? This year has changed everything.
"Guys!" Kirsten shouts, breaking the arguing up. "It doesn't matter anymore, honestly, guys. Makayla, Nora really misses you, so if you would be so kind and shut up, we'll get home quicker."
Makayla rolls her eyes as the Malfoys walk off to the train. I was too busy thinking to even decide before they were already on the train.
Annelise
Louis sighs as he and I walk onto the train. It seems that history likes to repeat itself, because I have 100% seen this film before.
The only carriage open is the one that Jordyn and Makayla are in. They, of course, are taking up the window seats again. How rude!
Instead of the awkward stares like the beginning of the year, I see Makayla look at us and give a charming smile as I sit next to Jordyn. Louis' only choice is to sit next to Makayla.
Given how much he talks about her, you'd think he'd be happy to sit next to her, but instead, he's a little nervous. No one else would notice it, but I do. Wimp.
