Makayla

I remember everyone's name. I just pretend to forget their names to see the look on their faces. Trust me, it's hysterical.

I noticed Louis' reaction to me saying his name for the first time. He was at a loss for words. It was funny.

That night was probably the most eventful night of the entire year. Well, I can't know for sure. We're almost two quarters way through it. But so far, yes.

With Christmas arriving, everyone is excited to go to Hogsmead or home. I'm excited for neither. My parents made last-minute plans to keep me at Hogwarts given Kai's recent complaints about my 'behavior' in this past year, which is absolute rubbish!

Of course, my parents won't listen to me, so I'm stuck here.

I walk into The Great Hall, all decorated in Christmas and jolly decor, only to see barely any of Slytherin house actually here to stay. There is one person that I see, though. Draco. God, is he annoying? He may act like us, but all he is is mean, and it's annoying. The others wouldn't agree with me, because word has it that he's almost as popular as I am these days.

"Hi, Makayla," Draco spits out in a sarcastic tone. I roll my eyes. If he's still mad about me not walking him around, I'm going to rip my own ears out. "I hope you like it at this filthy school. It's for the rats, much like yourself." His friends laugh at his uncreative joke.

"I'm surprised that people are so afraid of you, given the fact that you can't even insult your sister correctly," I respond. He replies with a confused look and I roll my eyes. "You've gotta laugh at the stupidity that remains in your mind because it's a shit ton, and that's sad. You couldn't insult anyone properly to save your life."

Draco remains silent and tenses his face up, signaling that he is angry. I can't keep it in anymore, so I just burst into laughter at how idiotic he looks. He scoffs and skimmers away, his friends, who are basically disciples at this point, trailing after him.

"Mother will be disappointed when Draco tells her about this," I hear Kai say. I turn around and see that he's behind me, his bags are all packed and on a trolly.

"You're leaving too?" I don't know why I'm so surprised to see him go. He hates this place, especially when I'm in it. Plus, I knew that he was leaving. Otherwise, I would probably be able to go home for the holidays as well.

"Obviously," he says as I reply with a sigh. "Hey, you don't have to worry. It's only three weeks. And you'll have company!"

"Oh really? Like who?"

"Well, people said that Louis and Ann are staying for the holidays."

After a long, dramatically awkward pause due to processing, I finally respond, "I'm stuck with THEM?"

"Indeed! Have fun!" He laughs as he rolls his trolly outside.

Groaning, I sit on a random bench and put my head in my hands.
