Can you imagine that just a year ago, I went through more action than I ever would in Defense Against the Dark Arts? Me neither, but it did happen.

I pack my trunk as Nora walks in, sitting in a chair that is in front of my vanity and starts reading a newspaper that she got from the mail. When I look over at the six year old girl, I take the newspaper, looking at it, "Since when could you read?"

"Since aunt Bellatrix taught me when I visited her."

"You still visit her in Azkaban?"

"You don't?"

I sigh, closing the trunk. Nora is staring at it. She has always longed to go to Hogwarts so that she could be with me instead of losing me for an entire year. What I think she doesn't understand is that she'll only get two years with me, then I graduate from Hogwarts. Then I'm an adult, then I have a reason to have responsibilities greater than my age.

She looks up at me, "When will I be able to go to Hogwarts?"

I kneel before her, "It'll be a very long time, but the years fly by quickly."

"These last two seem to go by as long as the rest of them," Nora looks down.

I sigh, patting her head and picking my trunk up, "Walk out with me?"

She smiles and nods. Nora is one of my favorite siblings. You may be surprised to hear that, given the fact that everyone thinks that I'm an evil popular girl that loves no one, but that's not the case when it comes to her and Chase, or Jordyn and Ann.

Oh right! I almost forgot. Annelise, Jordyn, and I have been writing to each other all summer long. It's quite out of the ordinary for me. I never write to any acquaintances, let alone friends, during any break. Ann has changed everything, though. Her golden retriever attitude has really helped Jordyn and I find the way to perfect harmony.

Nora and I walk down the stairs. Father and Mother are sitting in the family room, waiting for my other siblings. This year is my third year at Hogwarts, and I'm still waiting for all of my siblings to join me. That's not disgusting at all!

Not only is it my third year this year, but it's my sister Halston's first year. Halston is a little demon, I swear, but I've gotta love her. She's my sister after all.

"Halston, are you packed and ready yet?" Father shouts.

I've grown to have gotten used to Father's shouts. The hollow ones, the happy ones, the angry ones, any shouts you can think of. He has been pushing me over the summer to not talk to Ann and Louis at all, even when I get back to Hogwarts. He specifically wants me to not talk to Louis, which is odd, because I can't seem to find a reason why. Sure, Louis can be a complete asshole and dumbass (he actually always is), but he and I have grown to be a very, very small bit of nice to each other now that his sister and I are friends.

Halston skips down the stairs proudly, trunk in hand, owl cage in the other. That's when I remember . . . Mackerel!

I quickly set my trunk down and run back upstairs. Where could that dumb cat be? I lose him every week at this point, he just loves hide and seek so much that it's hard to keep up. I hear meows and mews every other minute or so, but I can't seem to find him.

"Looking for something?" Mother asks, startling me.

"Oh! Yes, I'm looking for Mackerel."

"Well, I'm afraid that we cannot wait for long, dear."

"I know . . . I just can't leave without him."

"That is something I can understand. Let me help you look."

She helps me search the entire upstairs area, but there's nothing.

"I'll check my room," I say as she nods. When I walk into my room, I see Dobby jumping on my bloody mattress. Wide eyed, I close my door, "Dobby, what are you doing?"

The house elf stops jumping and turns to me, "I need you and Harry Potter to not go to Hogwarts! You'll both be in grave danger!"

"As if!"

"Dobby is serious, master!" I can see him shiver, scared of me, or the entire Malfoy family at that matter.

"Dobby, why would I be in danger?"

"I'm afraid that Dobby cannot say."

"Yeah, you're a lot of help, y'know?"

I start to walk out when Dobby jumps off the bed, latching onto my leg, "Please master! Don't go to Hogwarts!"

"I'm going to Hogwarts whether you like it or not, now get off!"

I kick him off of my leg and walk out of my room, downstairs. One thing I do expect to happen, is for Dobby to come running after me, but he doesn't. He probably went to bother Harry, since he was worried about us both.

"Anything?" Mother asks.

I shake my head, then it turns to movement in the kitchen. Right there, on the counter, creeps a fluffy orange, tabby cat. Mackerel!

I smile and grab him, "Found him! Now let's go to Hogwarts."
