This is the part where I realize I have no idea what the hell is going on. I didn't even realize that they were talking about the secret opening in the sink when talking about the Chamber of Secrets. What are they doing? Are they death eaters? Did they open the Chamber of Secrets?

Then I recognize the fact that Ron's sister is down there. That must be why they're opening the Chamber. To get her.

They shoved Professor Lockhart down the large hole created by the secret passage first, to see if it was even safe for us to enter. It turns out that it is safe to enter. For some reason, that just makes the pit in my stomach bigger. I don't want to find out what monster Salazar Slytherin has kept in the Chamber for centuries. Then again, I want it gone, so I must find out.

We all then jump down the hole and land in... Sewers. EW. Absolutely disgusting! Now I have slime–goop–stuff all over my clothes. How outrageous! I expect Makayla to be reacting the same, but she just stands up from the floor and whispers, "Lumos," revealing a small light from her wand.

"Where are we?" Ron groans.

"The sewers," Makayla replies.

I watch Harry look around at the tunnels and then at Makayla, as if she'd landed on his arm and broken it–except for the fact that she landed nowhere near him. "How do you know that?"

"Because there's green, goopy water on the floor and–"

Ron's wand is taken from him by Professor Lockhart and now it's pointed at all of us. Now I have reason to dislike him.

"I am going to get out of here and you all will just be distant memories," the professor smiles. "I'll tell them how I tried to save you after you were so... eager to find Miss Weasley, but I was too late. And all of you were found dead down here." Makayla is unalarmed. Well–not really unalarmed, just distracted.

Note from Makayla: No, I'm unalarmed because he took the broken wand.

"You want to know how I kept all of my secrets... secret?"

"What you mean by that is you're asking us if we'd like to know how you didn't get caught."

"Why, yes."

"The only issue with your question is that I already have the answer," she looks around the darkened tunnel at us. "Memory charms."

"You're a smart girl..." Professor Lockhart flares his eyes. "I'll be sure to steal your work first." He raises his wand and shouts, "Obliviate!"

I watch the spell rebound and him get thrown against the wall. This causes the tunnel to shake and parts of the ceiling to cave in on us. Ron, Professor Lockhart, and I are trapped on one side of the newly made wall of rubble, meanwhile Harry and Makayla are on the other side. Why is it always them two?

"Ron!" Harry shouts through a small hole in the wall.

"Harry! Are you alright?" Ron shouts in return.

"Yeah, but I think that there's something further down this tunnel."

"There is," I hear Makayla grunt.

"What?" Harry asks.

"There is something down here, but it isn't very pleasant."

After a long pause, Harry finally says something, but it isn't anything anyone would be expecting. He says, "You're the Heir of Slytherin, aren't you?"

"Excuse m—"

"You knew the words to say to get into the Chamber," Harry starts. "And now you know what's down here?"

"It's not what you think, Harry," Makayla says.

"No, it's exactly what I think!" he says. "You're a death eater."

"No. I would never!"

"If you follow me, I will kill you."

Harry leaves the wall, leaving Makayla there. I don't know what to think. Makayla Irma Malfoy—a death eater. See, it would make sense if you didn't know her—truly know her. She can't be the Heir of Slytherin. She doesn't play the part.

Makayla sighs, making the first noise in a couple of minutes, "I'm not the Heir of Slytherin."

I hear her slide down the wall of rubble, sitting on the small pile on the other side. I do the same, "I know."
