"and i know she knows."

Umbridge barges into Dumbledore's office, Grayson and Percy dragging Harry and I behind her. She guides Cornelius Fudge into the room as she talks.
"They've been forming some army!" she explains as Dumbledore looks over. "It says 'Dumbledore's army' right here with all of their names listed!"
"Is this true, Dumbledore?" Fudge asks.
"Yes," he says.
"What?" Harry blurts out.
"That's absurd!" I shout. "It was Harry and—"
"Calm down, children, it says Dumbledore's army, not Harry's," he says calmly. "I instructed these two to form this organization and I, and I alone, am responsible for its activities."
Why is he lying?
"Dispatch an owl to the Daily Prophet, if we hurry we should still make the morning edition," Fudge mutters, putting the paper with the Dumbledore's Army members on it in his coat. "Dawlish, Shacklebolt, you will escort Dumbledore to Azkaban to await trial for conspiracy and sedition."
"I thought we might hit this little snag," Dumbledore says, standing up from against the table and walking to the other side of it as the people from the Ministry walk forward. "You seem to be laboring under the delusion that I'm going to... what was the phrase? Come quietly... Well I can tell you this... I have no intention of going to Azkaban."
"Enough of this..." Umbridge whispers before shouting, "Take him!"
Dumbledore throws us a wink before Fauks flies in. To our surprise, Dumbledore catches Fauks and quickly disappears into a firey blaze, sending the people from the Ministry falling to the floor.
Harry and I stand there in shock, wondering what just happened. A small smile grows on my face, reminding me that Dumbledore always has a plan and I have the pleasure of knowing him.
I shouldn't though.
Grayson walks me back to our dorms. All we hear is silence. The loudest silence.
In my mind, I'm thinking of what he said before he dragged me to Dumbledore's office.
"What are you?" he asked.
I don't know what I am. There are too many options that I qualify for. I'm some kind of monster if anything.
Monster, Death Eater, bullly, creature, machine, and so, so many more. Not one of them are good.
"What did you mean?" I suddenly ask.
"Huh?"
He doesn't understand.
"When you asked me what I am... What did you mean?"
"Makayla, do you seriously not know what happened to you when we broke through that wall?"
"What do you mean?"
"I'll take that as a yes," he says through gritted teeth before stopping in his tracks. I stop next to him. "Your eyes turned red. Dark red. I thought my eyes were deceiving me until you made that forcefield."
"I did that?"
"Do you have no control over your actions or something?" he asks. "You looked like a vampire, Makayla..."
I go silent.
Shoot.
He knows.
