Bio
Derek Bennett is the only son of Ella Bennett. Who's also the twins sister of Lucy Bennett. Making him a member of the Bennett Family.
On December 2017, his mother was killed when a group vampires of Illinois known as The Nightwalkers, tried forcing a coven of witches to work with them or die. An all out war started when Ella was killed, leaving Derek behind. Until he was founded by Bonnie Bennett and because he was one of the few living relatives he has, he went and lived with her in Mystic Falls until he was seven and went to The Salvatore Boarding School.
