Eli has been waiting by Hope's side, hoping she'd wake up, but Derek says he will help her and tells him that he must go.

So Eli decides to visit the town of Mystic Falls. Since he'll be inheriting The Lockwood Mansion, he might as well get to know the place. Which isn't too bad. Plus, it's a weekend, he figured he can skip just this once.

And he made sure to bring Cassio and MG with him, just in case he sees Damon. Which he doesn't see or smell. Yet. And hopefully he won't.

The Salvatore history book provided more info on the town. From what he knows, is this: Over 1,000 years ago during the Viking era, the Mikaelson Family heard of a mystical land from which the inhabitants were blessed with the gift of speed and strength. Desperate to leave the place they currently lived due to the plague and death of a child, they moved to this land where they lived among the special people as equals. Until one day, when the family's youngest was killed as he snuck out to watch the beasts turn from human to werewolf. This prompted their mother to create a superior race. The remainder of the family fled the village not long after. The magical place was discovered some centuries later in 1860 by the Founding Families and named Mystic Falls.

Eli learns that the town has a mayor, founder's council, and the police department. The mayor position had been occupied by the Lockwood Family members for 150 years until Rudy Hopkins assumed the position in 2011. The last Lockwood mayor was Carol, but she's only a Lockwood by marriage. Thus his grandfather was truly the last of his family to be mayor. And Eli doesn't know if he'll pick up where his family left off. Who can really say he will or won't?

Sexy Suds Car Wash.

Sexy Suds Car Wash was an event held on September 29, 2009. It was organized to increase the funds of the town's athletic department. Cheerleaders and football players held a car wash, with the teammates washing the outside of cars, as well as the inside. They charged $20 dollars to clean the outside and inside of the car, and $15 to only clean the outside. And Eli, if he ever went to Mystic High, he would've made the athletic department rich judging how he looks. Even Cassio nicked name him "The Eternal Stud." He would have called him "The Hunky Wolf." But that sounded cheesy or lame to him.
