It was a good thing Elaine arrived when she did

It was a good thing Elaine arrived when she did. She heard about what happened to Tyler and was worried for Eli. The oldest sister of Luna Lupo heard how her nephew's father died. At the hands of a vampire who's humanity is off. Another reason why Elaine hates vampires. And won't trust them.

She arrived at The Salvatore Boarding House. As Bonnie got a hold of her and managed text her the address.

When she arrived, Bonnie was the one that greeted her. "Thank you for coming."

"I was on my way to Mystic Falls when Tyler mentioned he was going to inform the gang of what he discovered. Where's...."

Before Elaine could finish her question, her supernatural hearing picked up fearful screams, and ran unusually fast, even for a werewolf.

Those screams were coming from Eli. Who was using the guest bedroom after giving him something to help him sleep, but he woke up rather quickly. "Eli, Eli, Eli!" She ran and hugged the boy, who was shaking from the nightmare he had. "It's ok. I'm here." The boy calms down after hearing his aunt's voice.

🐺🧛🏻‍♂️

"He was there, wasn't he?" Elaine asked, looking at Tyler's body as it's a bit pale. Likely bleeding out. She was fond of her sister's one nightstand and saw him as family. "Eli watched Damon killed him?" She directed the question at Stefan, only nodded. "Why?"

"That's what we're trying to find out." The youngest Salvatore replied.

"While you do that, we should bury him. And then I'm taking him away from this town." Elaine vowed. She told Tyler not to get involved in whatever it is his friends are in. That he has a son now and that he comes first. She should have guessed how much Tyler cares about his friends to the point he'll come and help them if he can. Matt on the other hand doesn't like the idea of his best friend's kid, whom he just met, leave. Neither is Caroline or Bonnie. But the latter knows deep down there's nothing they could do. She's Eli's last relative. His maternal one anyhow. "I know all of you must think that this is his home, that it's where his family belongs... but in the end, Tyler's family died here, and now he's dead. And I'm not about to let his son, my nephew remain here. So I must take him to Seattle after this."

🐺🧛🏻‍♂️ Present

As usual, Eli is outside going for a run. In human form, shirtless, as it's in the middle of the day. And he feels like running will clear his mind. Last night, he just kissed Hope Mikaelson. And it felt right to him. He just met her a month ago. And already he's falling for her. But that's not the only thing on his mind. As he had a strange dream.

To even say it was a strange dream is an understatement to say the least.

Last night, after kissing Hope and going to bed, he dreamed that he was running in the forest at night. With the light of the full moon shining in certain areas.
