During another midnight run, Eli was running through the woods. The reason for this is less about his nightmares and more of wanting to practice this new transformation he just unlocked. But as he does, he comes across a neighbourhood and for awhile it's empty. With people in the house sleeping. But then he sees someone he didn't expect to see yet.

He's a bit different now. The man is in his thirties and has a little bit of a facial hair going on. His dark hair and blue eyes can be seen by Eli thanks to his fantastic eye sight. And Lockwood can feel different type of emotion and that's anger. He tries to calm himself down, but his inner wolf has something else in mind. It wants to kill him.

His black fur stands upright, he starts to make a snarling face and he emits a growl that can only be heard by those with enhanced hearing. The trauma Eli experienced has indeed changed him. If only those that knew him, know how much it did changed him. But through sheer willpower alone, Eli regained control of his wolf and he was no longer angry. He calmed down. But still, he remains at a distance.
Damon was about to head inside when he saw a reflections of Eli's wolf form, and before he can turn around and spot the hybrid, he was already gone. Normally Damon would say he's seeing things. But he's been in the supernatural world long enough to know that werewolves can't control their transformation, and they certainly can't turn anytime they want. The only ones that can are the Evolved Werewolves of The Crescent Clan, which is inactive at this moment (with Hope being the last of the Crescents and the las of the Labonair line). And of course, there are hybrids. Which to Damon isn't possible. As Klaus was the last hybrid between werewolf and vampire, not to mention he killed all of his hybrids.
