Eli is a few distance away from the crowed to calm down and collect his thoughts. He knew he was aggressive, but to the point he would turn into a feral humanoid wolf is something else.

He's been reading the origins of species (werewolves) and he's never heard of them doing a partial shift like that.

He just directed his anger towards a guy he barely knows. It's likely due to how Rafael hurt Lizzie, even though he knows she was out of line.

This anger he has, it reminds him of how he's been feeling all those years every since his dad died. Anger and hate towards his killer. Even during full moons, he doesn't always get angry for no reasons. At times he wishes he can hit something.

After he calms down a bit, his hearing picks up what seems to be the sounds of punches in the distant. So he investigates and sees that it's Hope and Alaric training.

"You didn't have to lock him in the cellar." Hope said while trying to strike Alaric

"Where else was I gonna put him?" Alaric asked as he has his fist close to Hope, after leaving herself open. "Block with your hand."

Hope swiped his hand away. "I got it. "

"If you had it, I wouldn't have to say it." Alaric retorts, as they continue to the point he had Hope's right arm in a hold. But not for long.

"Dimiterre." The suddenly, Ric was flown over Hope and he landed on his back. Hope does a flip and has her hand on his chest to pin him down.

Eli couldn't help but smirk. Very impressed though with her skills.

"Cheater." Alaric was panting while saying that.

"You should really let a vampire start doing my training. You're getting a little old for me to break your human bones." Hope mocked.

"How dare you?" She pulls him up and he opens his hands and allows Hope to punch them like she would as a boxer. "You and Landon have a thing or something?"

Hope scoffs. "I don't have things."

"Yes, I'm well aware of your quest to avoid all emotional intimacy. There was obviously something."

Hope replied. "I liked him. He's normal."

Then Alaric says. "Well, let's keep him that way. We survive here because we follow the rules. We can't get sloppy about it."

"You're the one that's always telling me I need to get out more." Hope retorts.

"I tell you that you need to stop locking yourself in your dorm room binge-watching Cutthroat Kitchen. I don't tell you to go out and fraternize with the human locals." Alaric said to her.

"You know, you can just be my headmaster. All this other stuff isn't in the job description."

"Attempt to make make more friends here, and we could reevaluate this relationship. You're already friends with Derek, maybe Eli could use a friend." Hope isn't that sure if she should be Eli's friend. Sure, he seems alright for someone that just lost three people in his life. His mom, then his dad, and then his aunt. But she isn't so sure if she should get close to him. Even though Lockwood made it clear that they are not their parents. But she'll have to think about it. "Look, the girls, and Derek have already became friends with him. Give him a chance."
