Eli is in bed. His body has weakened so much he can barely move. And he looks even paler. And he's in pain.
Hope makes him a potion to ease the pain. "Where the hell is Derek?!" She's angry that he's nowhere in here.
"Hey. Calm down. You're shaking up the place." Eli joked, even in his weakened state.
The others, Rafael, Jed, Cassio, Lizzie, Josie, MG and Kaleb are worried for him. Even Alaric. With the former asking. "What's happening to him?"
"He's not just part werewolf, part vampire. He's also part lycan." Hope told them, which has them confused. "He's not like me. He's not meant to be three supernatural species."
"But aren't they the same thing?" Josie asked as she thought werewolves and lycans are the same thing.
"Werewolves were created by The Hollow. Lycans were created by Zeus. Or so the myth says." Alaric responded.
"If that's true, then can he actually..." Alaric knew what MG was asking. Judging from that book, werewolves and lycans have some similarities with one another and at the same time they don't.
The young vampire is asking if lycans can do what werewolves couldn't do.
Create another by passing on their lycanthropy via bite or scratch.
"We don't know that yet. Eli's has been aware of that part for a long time." Ric replied, feeling Eli's temperature, it's gone done down a bit. "Okay, three things we gotta do. Two involves tracking down Derek and Landon. And lastly we need someone to keep Eli stable until I figure out what to do."
"I will." Josie offered. "I'll work with Bonnie to see if we can find him." Hope thanked her and they others left, with Alaric glancing for ways to help Eli. He's gonna do right by Tyler's kid. Whatever it takes.

Eli past out after the pain stopped. He just needed to rest, as he feels so weak. He hadn't felt like that since he was 14. And right now, he's dreaming. Or going through a memory. Or at least he thought.
He suddenly found himself in a strange land. And at first he doesn't recognize it, but as he thinks harder, he's in...Arcadia.
