After taking a hot shower, Eli got ready and went do find Hope. But as he did, he sees Landon confronting her about something. And as Eli uses his vamp hearing, he knows what Landon is saying. That Penelope told Landon that Hope remembers her mom, which Eli figures it's why he's upset. Lockwood does wonder though on how Hope can remember meeting Landon's mom and the couldn't. Either way, Eli knows Landon is mad at Hope. Going as far as to talk about how Hope valued honesty yet she kept this from him. Lied to him even. He leaves as he can't deal with it and Eli comforts her. "I can't do this. I can't do this. I can't."

"Just five more minutes. Ok? We can do this. Get through this and it'll all be over." Eli encouraged her.  He knows she's a bit overwhelmed with Landon knowing the truth and being mad at her, but they just need to hold out a little longer.

🐺🧛🏻‍♂️

After they display their curtesy, Eli looks up and asked, "You doing okay?"

"Fine. Let's just get through this like you said. And. Nice suit."

"Thank you." Eli replied.

Eli and Hope begin the dance perfectly. Considering it's their first time. But if there after few things they have in common, it's being adapt at learning.

Lizzie is watching them from afar and she admits she's a little jealous. In her opinion, Eli is one of the few hottest guys in the school and he's dancing with Hope Mikaelson. And she can see how relaxed The Tribrid is. Almost as if Eli's presence is soothing to her.

She then sees Josie coming in and said. "They're about to announce the winners. Where have you been?"

Josie replied. "I was getting the note that Penelope wrote me. She's leaving the school."

Lizzie seems pleased. Unaware of how mad her sister is, she replied. "Oh, yeah, I knew that. I overheard Dad talking to her parents."

"And you didn't think to tell me?" Josie asked, making it clear that she's mad

"The devil's exorcising herself from our lives. That's good news. Why are you acting all annoyed?" Lizzie asked, wondering why her sister isn't happy that her ex is leaving.

Josie scoffs. "I can't believe this. She's been telling me all along, but I could never hear it.
You never consider anybody's feelings but your own."

Lizzie was taken aback by that a bit. "What? That isn't fair."

"Isn't it?" Josie asked. "It's bad enough that you didn't think I'd want to enter, but not a single part of you thought that I could even win."

Eli and Hope see them and were frowning a bit as they've never seen them fight before. "Jo, I'm not a mind reader, okay? If you wanted to win...l

Josie cuts Lizzie off. "Of course I wanted to win.
But the second you dropped out, you gifted your entire plan to Hope."
