Derek was so tired from all the testing that he did on Stefani's blood, he figured he would tell Alaric, Eli and Hope about his research. Tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Eli and Hope told Alaric about the book and to say he was trying to wrap his head around it is a bit of an understatement.

"So let me guess this straight: this book who was ridden by someone who claims the lycanthropes or Lycans were created by Zeus, who made Hope's grandmother and The Hollow's creation spells of two supernatural creatures child's play, at the request of Gaia, whom we know as Mother Mature or just Nature, in case humanity overpopulated the entire planet and will cut it in half and your ancestor, whom I'm assuming is Lycaon, did the same in his country, cutting the entire population in half. I'm I getting that right?"

Eli and Hope look at each other before the former looks back at the headmaster. "That and I can turn humans and werewolves that can only turn on full moons into lycans like myself. Only they'll be able to keep the form they were originally born to turn to."

"And just as vampires can get stronger with age, lycans are said to grow stronger with each full moon." Hope added. "And that's every month."

"What else does the book says?"

Eli answered Alaric. Knowing what he meant. "Raw human or animal meat. I can survive on either. To keep my abilities at its peak. But to be on the safe side, if my vampirism goes, I'll stick to animal."

Alaric is rubbing his temples. As he's letting the info sink in. He just being told that Eli Lockwood isn't just your average hybrid of natural birth anymore. And he thought Hope was the only unique supernatural being. And she still is. But Eli is just full of surprises. "Ok, uh... keep this to yourselves. Because if what this book says about Lycans are true, then the vampires of this school are gonna get scared and if this hits the streets or anywhere else for that matter, they will eliminate you to secure their future." Alaric knows about The Nightwalkers. And while they're dead, there are some that hold onto that belief.

"So that's the plan?" Hope asked. "Keep this a secret and hopes that if Eli gets rid of his vampirism, he won't become a threat to pretty much anyone?"

"Hope, this book clearly states that he is another supernatural predator. That could potentially rival that of an Original. And..." before Alaric could even finish those sentences...

"Yeah I know. My family has a habit of eliminating potential threats to them. But they aren't like that anymore, they learned the hard on where that mentality led them." Hope shakes her head at him for even bringing up her family. Even though it's true.

"Either way, keep it under wraps. I'm going to study this book further to see what we can learn from it."

Both them nodded and head to bed. Alaric could only wonder on what else the species can do. And how they function.

🐺🧛🏻‍♂️

Eli was sleeping without a shirt and was in his sweat pants when he heard the alarm went off. He awakes and leave without Derek as he's past out.
