Eli was becoming quite the popular dude among the pack. The respect, and adore him. He even got a nickname. The Black Wolf. Due to his fur colour.

They are learning a great deal from him. Such as combat, tracking and he helped them with school work. Pretty much your average history, math and health class, as well as mythology, because if the school is gonna get another monster, they need to know the strengths and weakness of said monster. I mean even Eli told them about the Chimera he and Derek Bennett encountered.

So they need to be prepared. Then again, Eli wouldn't be surprised if the next monster they encounter is a Hydra. I mean after all, so far, he's faced monsters that are popping up from certain mythologies. He just hopes he doesn't encounter the father of all monsters himself. And that would be Typhon.

According to legends, TYPHOEUS (Typhon) was a monstrous storm-giant who laid siege to heaven but was defeated by Zeus and imprisoned in the pit of Tartaros. He was the source of devastating storms which issued forth from that dark nether-realm. Later poets describe him as a volcano-giant, trapped beneath the weight of Mount Aitna (Etna) in Sicily. In this guise he was identified with the giant Enkelados (Enceladus).

Typhoeus was a winged giant, said to be so huge that his head brushed the stars. He was man-shaped from the waist up with two coiled serpents in place of legs. He had a hundred serpent-heads for fingers, a filthy, matted beard, pointed ears, and eyes flashing fire.

According to some he had two hundred hands consisting of fifty serpent-headed fingers on each hands and a hundred heads proper--one was human, the other ninety-nine bestial (of bulls, boars, serpents, lions and leopards). As a volcano-demon Typhoeus hurled red-hot rocks at heaven and fire boiled forth from his mouth.

So Eli just hopes and prays (not that he ever did) that he doesn't encounter him, or he's dead, along with the world itself. Then again, he isn't sure if Typhon is dead or alive. Who can really say.

Anyways, when Hope Mikaelson enters the gym, she sees the pack working out real good. Jed and Rafael are training in hand to hand combat, Cassio is using the punching bag, the rest are doing their own thing, which is working out. And that's when her eyes finds Eli working up a sweet.
