"Please tell me you have something." Alaric asked Dorian over the phone.

"Connection sucks. W-Where are you?" He asked.

"Root cellar full of contraband that our pickpocket Landon Kirby claims he didn't steal.
There's a fire-breather outside."

"Really Hope?" Derek rolled his eyes. "How about you prioritize your rage?"

Eli quietly snickered at the banter. Meanwhile though he hears Dorian say. "Dragon."

"What?" Alaric thought he misheard that.

"Dragon. She steals treasure, breathes fire, hides the loot in her lair. She's-she's not a pyromancer, she's a..."

"Dragons don't exist, or look like normal people." Alaric scoffed.

"There was a time we would have said that about vampires, werewolves and witches."

Eli and Derek agreed with Dorian, as some depictions of the three supernaturals aren't entirely that correct.

"She's a, a human dragon. Now what?" Alaric asked.

"In anything I've ever read..."

"In fiction."

"...the way to take down a dragon, you need a buttload of courage and a sword."

Hope raises the knife. "How about a Knife?"

"I'm going to also add claws into this."

Eli flicked his claws out

Eli flicked his claws out. "If she is a dragon, then her skin should be tough enough to take a couple of slashes."

🐺🧛🏻‍♂️

While smoke came out of the human dragon, the doors to the cellar open and Hope flings her back with magic. "Didn't anyone ever tell you smoking's bad for you?" The human dragon gets up and merely growls, with her eyes glowing. "I know. Quitting's hard." As she breathes fire, "Scutum." She blocks the flames, but Derek joins in.

"hyacintho Incendia!" Blue fire collides with dragon flame, both flames never giving an inch.

Eli jumps behind her and uses his claws to slash her back many times, but it proves ineffective. "Yup. She's a dragon." Before said Dragon can stop firing, Rafael throws something at her, causing her to cease fire.
