Ngayon ang araw ng announcement ng mga nanalo sa student council. Ilang araw din akong naging abal sa pagrereview, sa mga debate, maging sa promotion, but I am hoping that everything will be worth it.

Nandito kami ngayon sa audio-visual room ng Ridgeview, the larger version to be exact. Dito kami pinapunta ng lahat dahil sa sobrang daming estudyante, lahat kasi ng students ay required na pumunta sa program ngayong araw.

Bago nga ang simula ng program binigyan na naman ako ni Gael ng strawberry milk, kinuwento pa niya sa akin na nagpa-save siya ng upuan sa unahan para makita niya ako nang mabuti. 

"Advance congratulations, Presi!" bulong si Caden, na siyang running for Vice President sa partido namin. 

"Ano ka ba, mamaya mabati, sige ka." sagot ko naman.

"Hay nako, Madam. Iyong-iyo na ang trono, bukod sa halimaw ka sumagot sa mga debate, crowd favorite ka pa." sabi ni Andreu.

"Pero, ito ha. Ano mang lumabas na resulta, proud na proud ako sa inyo!" sabi ko sa kanila, they all smiled at me, and we decided to to a group hug before going to the stage.

"Introducing, mula sa Partido Pangarap. The running for president, Arisanna Mirielle Trujillo, vice president, Caden Alexus Lopez, secretary, Andreu Kassandra Bernardo, treasurer, Xantria Cepeda..." marami pang tao ag nasa partido namin, lalo na't may kaniya-kaniya pang representatives ang bawat kurso. 

Pinakilala na rin ang nasa ibang partido, halos pareho lang ang mga suportang nakukuha namin mula sa mga estudyante, kaya masasabi kong dikit ang laban. Manalo man o hindi, alam ko naman na pare-pareho lang kami ng gustong gawin, pareho lang kaming gusto mapaayos ang buhay mag-aaral ng mga kapwa naming estudyante.

"We all know that everyone in this stage today shares the same goals and hopes for their co-students. Everyone shares goodwill, a good understanding, and a willingness to be an ally to everyone in this room. Here are the results, Congratulations to all the winners!" sabi ng Principal at ipinakita na sa malaking screen ang resulta ng botohan. Kabang-kaba talaga ako, at halos manginig na, but I kept on smiling.

I won. Caden, Andreu, and Xantria also won. I and my friends won! I couldn't help but cry and hug my teammates. It's a lot happier knowing that we share the same achievement.

"Congratulations, my partido pangarap!" sabi ko sa kanilang lahat.

I saw Kuya Han waving his banner, so I couldn't help but laugh too. A very supportive brother and friends, this is my life when I am free, and not imprisoned to that house I can never call home.

We also shook hands with the other party and congratulated some winners too from them. We didn't have a toxic battle, because both teams were very responsible, and they knew how much toxicity could ruin our candidacy.

We took a group photo and we decided to eat at a Korean restaurant for a celebration. I invited Klyde, Kassey, and even Gael. I also asked Kuya Han but he is not free because he still has a class. 

Tinapos lang namin ang isang klase at naghintayan na lang sa field kung saan maraming bench. 

"Congratulations, Miri!" sabi nila Klyde at Kassey sa akin.

"Salamat sa inyo, sa support at sa pagtulong sa akin sa mga promotion." pasasalamat ko sa kanila.

"Ang ganda ng hair clip mo today, by the way." sabi ni Klyde. Napahawak naman ako sa ribbon na suot ko, iyong galing kay Gael. I decided to wear it today because I was hoping that is a very special day and I'm not mistaken.
