This Waylen Gael Bejerano
I was born into a simple family. My Mom and Dad have a small business that turned into a big one because of good management. I have a little sister named Giael, and we lived to the fullest as our parents never failed to provide us with what we needed, financially, physically, and emotionally.
I am very thankful that I am destined to live in a complete, happy, and simple family, dahil alam ko kung gaano kahirap ang mabuhay nang walang matinong pamilya. I am one of the privileged ones to have a happy and complete family, at araw-araw ko iyong ipinagpapasalamat.
"Gael, Gia, come here, let's eat breakfast." narinig kong sabi ni Mommy.
"Good Morning, Kuya Gael and baby Gia." sabi naman ni Daddy.
"How was the paper factory po?" pangangamusta ko sa business nila.
Our family has a paper factory, but the materials we are using are from trash. Our business is purely environment-friendly as my Mother is a graduate of environmental science.
"It's getting good, Kuya. Maraming environment-friendly stores ang kumuha ng mga papel natin for receipts, tags, paper bags, and more. Mayroon nga, recently lang Kuya, gusto nilang mag produce tayo ng journal made from recycled materials as a reward sa mga customer nila. Like a journal from coffee shops, ganoon ang gusto nila and we said yes. Maganda na dumarami ang mga tao na may pakialam sa paligid." sabi ni Mommy at ngumiti.
"That's good to hear Mom. At least we are helping the community, marami pa kayong nabibigyan ng trabaho, and that's good." sabi ko sa kaniya. They both smiled at me, at doon naging maganda at mapayapa ang naging umagahan naming pamilya.
I was tying my shoe laces nang bigla akong lapitan ni Giael. She looked shy at first, but I already saw her holding her notebook and pens.
"What's is it po, our small baby Gia?" malambing na tanong ko at ngumiti.
"Kuya, can you help me draw a strawberry?" tanong sa akin ni Giael. May ilang taon din kasi ang agwat naming dalawa, she's almost a menopause baby.
"Sure, get your materials." sagot ko, kinuha naman niya agad ang mga gamit niya sa kuromi designed bag niya, mahina na lamang akong natawa, my little sister is adorable yet so behave.
Mabuti na lamang at may ilang minuto pa bago ako umalis. Ngayon kasi ang araw ng aking college admission, plano ko sanang pumasok sa Saint George University, tapos ay magtry-out din para sa basketball. My Dad was also a basketball player when he was young, an alumni of Saint George to be exact that's why I wanted to study there too. Since I came from a very healthy family, I always admire my Dad and my Mom, they are my role models.
"Ganiyan mag drawing ng strawberry." sabi ko sa kaniya. Bata pa lamang ako ay talentado na ang aking kamay, my parents even enrolled me to art classes just to enhance my skill.
