Chapter 12

CASH POV

"Hillux, let's have a graduation pic together!" Remrem uttered with a wide smile on her face.

I nodded as an answer and then she giggled and hugged my arms like what she always do.

"Sure talaga na hindi kayo?" Chloe asked us with full of doubts.

"She's my sister not related by blood." I answered her.

Alot of students here thought that Remrem and I have a romantic relationship. But there's none. We're together since when we're just a babies. Our family were so close and we're also living in the same roof before. We had a tough life back then, and her family was there to help us and now, we're slowly thriving. We buy a new house far from them but Remrem keep visiting us and we never lost our connection.

I watched as she smiled at me but the supposed happiness didn't reach her eyes. She didn't passed the entrance exam in FU while I did. So now, she has no choice but to find another Universities. This is the first time we aren't studying in the same school so I know this is kinda tough for her. She's been depending on me the whole time and she never had a friend because she said she's contented to have me.

I give her my most genuine smile. "You can still go to my house if you miss me."

She then burst into tears. "I don't wanna be far from you!" she uttered, stomping her feet to the ground.

I was comforting her until it's finally her turn. She looked at me and pointed her face. "How's my make-up?"

I give her a smile. "It's fine."

She smiled back at me before she sat infront of the camera.

I went out to the room. My eyes automatically landed at the three girls laughing on the ground floor of HUMSS department not far from us.

I saw Kenin getting teased by her friends.

"Gago, Blaire! Mukha ka rin pa lang tao, no?!" the girl with black long hair uttered.

"Huy, gagi! Ang ganda ng ayos mo, Blaire! Siguro crush ka no'ng nag make up sa 'tin!" a blonde girl uttered.

My eyebrow raised as I stared intently to Kenin. She has a make up on her face and they were right, she's definitely look like a human now. Her light make up suits her more. Her natural beauty shines more.

"Why her alluring face didn't fit to her attitude?" I asked chuckingly to myself.  

She smiled at me as soon as our eyes met. She waves her hand and I nodded at her.

[Wait mo 'ko] she mouthed and I nodded again.

She seems so excited to bake a cupcake. And she seems more vibrant now. The first time I met her, she's kinda dull.

"Hillux! Pic na tayo!" Remrem yelled inside the room so I went in.

After a couple of hours, we're finally done.

"Are we waiting someone?" Remrem asked inside my car.

She's coming home with me because my mom miss to have a bonds with her.

I nodded. "Yeah."

"A friend?" she asked again.

"Sort of." I answered.

After a couple of minutes, Kenin finally came. She opened the backseat and sat.

"Sorry ngayon lang, daming pic-" she stopped midway as her eyes landed to Remrem.

On the other side, Remrem, was also shock to see her.

"HI! REMREM! Nice to see you! What a small world! Ang cute mo pa rin!" Kenin greeted happily.
