Napatingin ako sa direksyon ni Ceila ng biglaang sumigaw si Freia sa katabi nito.
Napataas ang kilay ko.
Observing their actions and hearing it, mukhang may nangongopya kay Ceila and Freia is stopping it to do so.
Ciela looked worriedly about her seatmate.
She's being too kind for no reason.
She smiled at Freia before looking outside.
Mukhang natigilan siya sa nakita kaya napatingin ako sa tinitignan niya.
Napangiwi ako ng makita si Frank na nakatingin din sa kanya.
I couldn't help but remember what Frank just said earlier.
"Makipagtitig kaya ako sa iba? Para naman mafall sila sa'kin. For fun lang."
Psh. The asshole is playing every girls around and Ceila is one of them for pete's sake.
Parang gusto ko tuloy sumigaw kay Ceila tungkol sa sinabi ni Frank kanina. He's giving her mixed signals and knowing that she has a crush on her is truely heartbreaking.
Ako tuloy nasasaktan para sa kanya.

First quarter ended and I our teacher announced the rankers.
"Ciela Lavelle Avila. Rank 1." malakas akong napapalakpak ng malaman siya ang top 1.
"Huy pre easy ka dyan. Halatang proud na proud ka ah," nakangising ani ni Rai na katabi ko.
"Shut up." Irap ko sa kanya.
"Ulol. Nainlove na talaga ang gago," aniya pa pero hindi ko na siya pinansin pa.
She was smiling widely at everyone. She deserves it.
For some reason this is the first time I felt so proud to a person who got a higher rank than me.
Mostly I would felt like I haven't done enough even though my parents doesn't pressure me much. But I do.
But this time... I felt like proud of her for doing so.
Iba na 'to.
After class, I was planning to congratulate her pero mabilis siyang lumabas.
Hindi na ako nagdalawang isip na sundan siya.
"Erora!" tawag niya ng makita ang kaibigan niya.
Napahinto ako sa paglalakad at tumabi muna para hindi nila ako makita.
It's their privacy to talk though. So it would be rude to eavesdrop.
But part of me wanted to stay. I want to know what their topic is about. Plus if my instinct is right about Ciela's friends then this is the right time to prove it.
Why Am I being too concerned about the people around her?
"Rank 1 ako sa klase namin! Yey!" excited na sabi niya. You could sense the joy and satisfaction in her voice.
Sabagay, she worked so hard and she deserved it.
"Talaga? Sure ka ba na rank 1? As far as I remembered mas matalino pa ako sa'yo, bat hindi ako rank 1? Baka nagcheat ka during exam?"
"Edi sanaol nalang." napakunot ang noo ko sa sinabi ng kaibigan niya.
What the hell?
Sumilip ako sa kanila at nakita ko ang sakit sa mga mata ni Ceila.
