Lei's POV

"Ang lalim ng iniisip mo ah." nagulat ako ng biglaang nagsalita si mama sa likod ko.

"Ma, I have this girl..." hindi ko pa natutuloy ang sasabihin ko agad na niya akong hinarap habang nanlalaki ang mata.

"Seryoso?! She's already your girlfriend!?" gulat na aniya pero bakas nun ang excitement.

"Hindi naman ma, I just felt weird kapag kasama siya. Everytime I look around my eyes would automatically land to her. Then each time I see her smile fading it aches my heart. Her presence always makes me uncomfortable yet I want to stay beside her. I don't know, naguguluhan ako." sabi ko habang nakatingin sa malalim na gabi.

Sumandal siya sa railing ng balcony habang nakatabi sa'kin. Napaisip siya.

"Hmmm, whatever that feeling may be, you're the only one to understand and find out about it. Simply because it's how you feel, maybe a little more observations about that feeling then you'll get your own answers to your questions." aniya bago ako tinapik sa balikat at iniwan.

Napabuntong hininga ako bago dinamdam ang malamig na simoy ng gabi.

The drawing compition finally came. I couldn't see Ceila anywhere so I am assuming that she is at the venue.

Then I just found myself walking towards there. Gusto ko tumingin sa gawa niya.

While walking on the corridor biglaang sumulpot ng parang kabute si Nadia.

"Hi Lei," she smiled at me.

I just stared at her blankly and walked passed.

I heard her scoffed in annoyance before pulling my t shirt at iniharap ako sa kanya.

Inis ko na hinablot ang t shirt ko mula sa pagkakahawak niya at mariin siyang tinignan.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?!" iritadong sabi ko.

"Can't you see that I like you?!" malakas na aniya na ikinatigil ko.

What the fuck?

She raised her brow before crossing her arms right infront of me.

"I said I like you so I am assuming that you like me too," she confidently said.

I scoffed at her face. "I don't like you." sabi ko na ikinakunot ng noo niya.

"What?" she asked in disbelief.

I stepped forward at her and towered her small figure.

"I said, I. Don't. Like. You." sabi ko bago siya tinalikuran.

"What the fuck Lei?!" sigaw niya na ikinatigil ko sa paglakad. I've only reached seven steps away from her.

"I'm pretty, I'm smart, I'm rich, I'm everything that a guy could want! But why can't you see that Lei? Is this because of Ceila?" mapangakusang aniya.

"She has a heart, you haven't." nakatalikod na sabi ko at nagpatuloy sa paglalakad. I didn't bother giving her a glance about her reaction.

I want to see Ceila.

My Ceila.

Tarantado, ano 'yan?!

Tumingin muna ako sa pinto ng venue at nakita ang pagbigay ni Ceila ng kanyang drawing sa judges.

Napaisip ako kung anong gagawin ko upang magmukhang astig. Lalo nat nakikita ko napalabas na siya.

Agad akong sumandal sa pader at kunwareng may kinakalikot sa phone para maibsan ang kabang nararamdaman ko.

Ano ba naman 'to, pakiramdam ko sasabog na puso ko sa kaba. Parang sasabak ako nang board exam ng law sa kaba!
