Ceila's POV

Agad akong hinila niya bago mahigpit na niyakap.

"What's that smell?" naguguluhang tanong ko nang may maamoy na nasusunog.

Nanlaki ang mata ko nang mapagtanto ang lahat.

Agad na bumitiw ako sa yakap niya at pinuntahan ang kusina. Halos maluha ako nang makitang mausog ang buong kusina at sunog na pan.

"You accidentally left the pan with the stove open," mahinang bulong niya bago ako marahang inakbayan.

Seeing the place was a mess. If only I focused on cooking edi hindi sana mangyayari 'to. I could feel the sides of my eyes starting to heat up.

Then I started crying. "Hey it's okay," iniharap niya ako bago niyakap at hinahagod ang aking likod.

"I'm sorry if I can't cook, I'm a girl and yet can't even simply cook." I cried.

"Hindi ko namang sinabing magluto ka. I can cook for you in your entire lifetime so you don't have to worry."

"Let's make our future relationship a 50/50. I will make money, cook for you, and do household things. While you give me all the love you have, are we clear?"

I nodded in response before looking up at him.

"But I'm an impulsive shopper," I pouted.

"It's okay, I have money," winked at me amusingly.

"Okay, so could you both stop with the landian na? I'm here oh!" agad na napatingin ako sa gilid nang makita si Parisa!

I immediately run towards Parisa before hugging her tightly.

"Oh my god, I missed you so much!" malakas na tili niya habang mahigpit ang yakap.

Kalaunan bumitaw din siya bago ako gulat na iniharap.

"I have good news! We won your case!" malakas na sabi niya habang nakangiting tagumpay.

I was stunned, couldn't be able to process what Parisa just said.

"N-nanalo t-tayo?" utal na sabi ko sa sobrang gulat.

I glanced at Lei who was smiling widely before nodding.

Nanlaki ang mata ko at malawak na napangiti.

"Nanalo tayo!" malakas na sigaw ko at mahigpit silang niyakap.

Kumalas ako sa yakap bago sila hinarap.

"Paano?" naguguluhang tanong ko. Recently everything was on chaos and Lei just won the case? That easily? Despite the situation?

"I've already studied your case weeks ago and turns out it was just a simple case,"

"I've encountered many heavy cases, some of them were even dangerous but still managed to won. In your case, it was just a mere misinformation and misunderstanding." paliwanag ni Lei sa'kin.

"I know everytime we would talk about your father, your eyes would secretly want to avoid the topic. Halatang napipilitan ka lang. So I needed to find matters in my own hands. I investigate and gathered some informations that would help you. Then today was the official testimony. I didn't bother waking you up or telling you, simply because I know you hated your father and I respect you with that. And it would be hard for you to attend the testimony knowing that you would face your father. It will just make our situation harder." paliwanag niya.
