AARON'S POV:
I angrily groan as I'm 'hidden' behind a bush in one of the newly added country parks  Juliette added.

Juliette, she insisted I went with Kishimoto, she said if I went with him she'd talk to me more tonight. So I took that offer, I knew that if I successfully removed Kenji from being a disturbance she wouldn't speak any further about what she's going through.

Kenji is about twenty feet away from me, he's talking to a woman who I only vaguely know.

Millie Robinson.

She's a nurse on base, a very talented one. She's got very dark brown hair, almost black, her eyes are some kind of brownish grey. Her hair is short, shoulder length and straight, black glasses thin and circular. She's the same age as Kenji, 21.

I got a message, he said he's going to message me when he 'needs advice'.

Kishimoto

Kishimoto:
👁️🥣🫵🤝

You:
What on Earth does that mean?

Kishimoto:
👁️I (eye)

Kishimoto:
🥣-Need

Kishimoto:
🫵-Your

Kishimoto:
🤝- Help

You:
First of all, how does a bowl and a spoon represent (need)?

Kishimoto:
You know, like needing dough

You:
Secondly, just type it - in words!

Kishimoto:
Now where's the fun in that?

You:
Nothing about this situation is fun. I just want to get this over with, is that too much to ask?

Kishimoto:
Yes, it is to much too ask.

I roll my eyes and look around the bush, Kenji is walking over to Millie, this isn't going to end well.

KENJI'S POV:
"Hey" I approach Millie.

"Hi. It's Kenji, right?" She smiled.

Gosh, she's so pretty!

"Yes, it's Kenji. Millie?"
She laughs, "yes".
"You work as a nurse, that must be cool." I say, making conversation, well... trying to.
"Yeah, I do. It's okay, I suppose. If you don't mind blood and broken bones then it's okay. Still, it's not nice to see people hurt."

Okay, I probably should have thought about that, I suppose saying seeing people who are hurt all day is cool, is really fucking bad.

"I didn't mean cool like that, I mean it must be interesting... wait no!-"
She cuts me off laughing. "I know what you meant. Yes, I suppose it is interesting."
I smile, trying to suppress a laugh.
"And you are one of the Supreme Commander's little sidekicks." she said.
I nod, "I suppose I am".
"Is that job cool or interesting?" She teases me, chuckling.
"Yeah! It's really cool when we get to kick some bad guys ass!" I say. "Whenever we-" I get cut off by Millie's pager buzzing.

She takes it out of her hand bag and looks at the small screen. "I'm so sorry, I have to go, I'm needed in the Emergency Room."

She takes a small notepad and pen from her bag and writes something on it, "this is my number". She hands it to me and smiles. "I would love to have very cool and interesting conversations with you again." She laughs before walking away.

I stand there for a few minutes, the piece of paper with her number on in my hand. I can't believe what just happened. This is the first time I haven't been told to 'piss off".

I rush over to Warner and see him looking at me with a flabbergasted face.

"How did you just do that?" He questioned. "You told her that other people being hurt is cool and then said you like kicking people's asses."

I roll my eyes, "I guess she just couldn't resist the Kenji Charm."

He huffs a sarcastic breath. "Whatever, can I go now?"

I gasp, putting an offended hand on my chest. "How horrible. Is my company not good enough for you?"

"No, it's not."

Then he walks off, I'm assuming back to J. I don't try and stop him because I know that J probably needs him and I shouldn't have taken him from her in the first place, they said they were discussing something 'important'.

Anyway, I don't really care about that right now, I just got Millie's phone number!
