- secret plot stuff that I'm keeping quiet on.
- Theo's brother got mixed in with supernatural things, and he finds himself getting attacked by a demon, ish. Sunny introduces himself, and they face Theo's bro and the demon and angel attached to him.

Sunny followed Theo home. That is to say, Theo walked back to his apartment with Sunny at his side, keeping time with him. Theo moved fast, then slow, and Sunny didn't hesitate to keep pace. Sunny smirked at him and put a hot hand on his back as they settled back into a normal pace. It was an innocent enough gesture, screaming that Sunny wasn't leaving that easy.
Theo got the feeling that asking wouldn't cut it, either. Based on Ferno, who'd stuck close to his brother since arriving, when a demon liked someone, they didn't leave them. Sunny liked him.
The moment of a wrapped image of himself looming above him jolted through him. The sensation of claws caressing his face as Sunny purred made his arms flare with goosebumps. A bit of sensible fear waved through him. Those claws existed still, hidden until Sunny needed or wanted them.
Sunny inhaled and moved his hand to hook over Theo's shoulder to tuck him closer.
"Your brother is cute," Sunny said, " I can see why Ferno stuck around. He's always had a thing for short, bossy types. Might be why he likes Grace too."
"Grace seems more grumpy than bossy," Theo kept walking. Home, he needed to get home. Maybe demons were like vampires and needed permission to enter a home? Maybe he should have asked Grave to vanish Sunny. Was that how it worked? Could an angel send someone back to hell? Did Sunny deserve it?
He was not about to unpack that final thought while walking under the Sunny's possessive arm.
"It's not mutually exclusive. We called him Grace because of his lack of it. He's got plenty of divinity, but grace?" Sunny shrugged, his muscles rippling against Theo's back. A hint of his strength in the movement that had Theo flushing.
Another few steps of quiet and the word sunk through Theo's hazy mind. Theo snorted, struggling to keep it from turning into full-on laughter. Grace wasn't graceful, no. "That's why? I thought it was a convention to name angels after virtues or something."
"Nothing like that," Sunny rocked their shoulders, bumping their heads together and swiping his chin against Theo's cheek. Maybe he'd miss it if Theo weren't hypersensitive to Sunny's every move. Theo didn't miss it.
Theo relaxed as the last of the laughter choked out of him. Sunny liked him. Sunny didn't like many people. The rest of the walk calmed Theo's rabbitting heart. Sunny didn't move his arm, but Theo got the message that demons didn't like not touching what they saw as theirs. Ferno didn't let go of his brother if Ferno could help it. Another thing to unpack once Theo was alone and free to consider the implications.
Sunny didn't need permission to enter his apartment, sauntering through the doorway as Theo opened the door. Theo followed, kicking the door shut.
Heat pressed against him, and muscles pinned him to the door. Rough lips smashed against him in a rough and passionate kiss. Sunny groaned and flexed his body against Theo's, thick thighs holding him in place. The whimper that escaped him was embarrassingly high.
The smirk returned, dark, hungry eyes studying him like a prime piece of meat, and Theo's chest tensed. Another kiss, sweeter and slower, a hand curling into his hair. "We aren't playing the same game your brother is playing, are we? There's no angel here, no reason for you to deny it. You're mine, and you know it. We don't need to," Sunny ran out of words and groaned lower than Theo thought possible.
Theo trembled. Fuck.
Sunny's expression fell until it softened into disappointment. He kissed Theo's forehead and let him drop to the ground, unsteady.
Fuck it all.
Theo grabbed Sunny's shirt collar and dragged him down for a proper kiss. Sunny grinned into it.
"Good."
Another kiss, slow and passionate. Theo willingly went as Sunny dragged him to the bedroom. The night proved as hot and heart pounding with Theo ashamed at how easily he fell into a pleading mantra of 'Please, more please." Followed by saying Sunny's name in a pitch he hadn't reached since his balls dropped.
Sunny purred, pleased.
"Mine," Sunny declared, low and warm.
"Yours," because Theo didn't know how he could belong to anyone else ever again after that. His arse hurt, and his throbbed with pleasure. Hot, firm flesh fenced him in his bed, and he dropped off loved.
