Chapter 43- Kai and Ace

Patt and the gang all have classes after lunch so I had no choice but pumunta na lang sa library. Then again, being the irresponsible Ace Abigail I am, Hindi ko napansin na I slept more than what I've planned, so for being late I've practically ran my way to Math 17 with Mr.Allen. He's really a monster when it comes to tardiness. God! Your really in trouble for detention today Ace. Ang unang classmate na nakita ko sa loob ng room ay walang iba kundi si Kai lang naman, he was crumpling a paper obviously bored. Then he saw me, and what did come next? He sent me a playful smirk giving me a signal that he was about to do something. I tried to ignore him and focus on what to tell Mr. Allen. I'm late I know, but lucky me! Mr.Allen was facing the blackboard so I've got a chance to sneak in unnoticed. Pero sabi nga nila walang happy endings, sa tulong ni Kaizer Raymundo nagkatotoo ito. Due to his thoughtfulness for me, he purposely aimed and thrown the crumpled paper at Mr.Allen's back. So that is what those playful smirk he sent me awhile ago all about?! Am so dead. >.<

"Good afternoon Ms.Vergara, I hope you're ready for detention later." sabi niya habang nakasmile sakin pero halata namang nagpipigil lang ng galit. "At sinong hudas ang nambato sakin?!" sigaw niya.

"Ako sir!" tumayo si Kai mula sa upuan dala-dala na ang bag niya while smiling triumphantly "And I'm ready for detention later!" he saluted happily. I knew this was his plan, to piss me off everyday. And he's really pissing me of now! **

As soon as I got to the detention room, I just slammed my face to the desk to prevent me from breaking Kai's face. Ano bang problema niya? At bakit ba niya to ginagawa?!

"Ace? Can we talk?" Hindi ako sumagot.

"Hey my Acey." he poked my left arm. Don't let him get into nerves Ace. Control lang. Hindi siya worth it sa energy mo.

"Acey! Acey! My Acey! Acey!...."he is really a one of a kind. He doesn't stop until he gets what he wants.

"I love y..." to prevent him from saying useless words too much I looked at him fiercely. Hindi na kaya ng pasensya ko ang mga trip niyang to.

"what is it this time? What do you really want Kai?!" I moved one sit apart from him, sobrang lapit niya kasi. "You've been pissing me off and you got us to detention because of your stupid pranks on me. I already said I've forgiven you for what you did but it doesn't mean that you can do whatever you want and act as if nothing happened!"

"You want me to answer the truth?" I was taken aback by his seriousness. Hindi siya nakangiti oh nakatawa ngayon. He's dead serious. I avoided his gaze, I swear his stares could make me shut up and nervous often. It gives me goosebumps. I caught a glimpse of him to see that nakatingin siya sakin ng sobrang lalim. "Ang gusto ko ay para sakin lang ang mga ngiti mo, yung mga unending dreams mo para sating dalawa, at ang pinakagusto kong makuha ay ang pagmamahal mo uli para sakin at sakin lang. I want you back My Acey." is this any prank camera?! I swear I'll give him a 10 for his acting.

"Don't play games on me Kai. Not again!" I screeched. I don't like playing games with him, 'cause I know I'm the one to be left crying by the end.

"I seriously want you back Ace." his deep voice so serious and commanding.

"I was once all yours Kai. " Hindi ko gusto ang mga ganitong usapan.

"I know I was a jerk then. But I'm still and have always loved you Acey, of that I'm sure! It just seems like it was just like yesterday that you love me so much and now you don't. Alam kong napatawad mo na ako at kaibigan mo na ako uli. Pero hindi friendship ang gusto ko mula sayo."
