Ava stretched opening her eyes. "Hey" she spotted Connor on top of the covers.
"Hey" Connor brushed through her hair, his hand running down her back.
"I made breakfast"
"When" she sat up.
"I've been up and all, I just wanted to see you for a bit" he looked away.
"Get dressed, I'll make you a coffee" he touched the back of her thigh.

Ava made her way to the bathroom, showering she pinned her hair out of the way. She ran her fingers along the grout of the tiles in the shower. Her finished brushed the tattoo on her ribs. She'd miss this place.

Ava made her way out to Connor in the kitchen, who was playing up fresh toast, eggs and hashbrowns. Ava leaned back against the counter, Conner handing her a mug.
"Thank you" Ava took the mug, sipping her coffee. Connor stood close to her, brushing her hair behind her ear.
"You know I'm really proud of you"
"What?"
"I am, proud of you, and everything you've done"
Ava kissed him.
She'd had an amazing carrer, and would go on to. He'd make sure of it.

Ava drive them, her hand on Connor thigh as she tapped her thumb against the steering wheel. She pulled to a stop.
"Hey" he touched her cheek.
"We'll go up to Harris after lunch"
Ava nodded. "Together" she took his hand.
"Together"

Ava had a surgery first thing that morning, which took her head off Harris. Falling back into the routine. Afterwards she made her way to the offices, "hey"
"Hi" Connor took off his glasses.
"One vanilla latte" she set down the cup down, leaning back against his desk.
"You okey" he touched her thigh.
"Mhm" Ava mummed, coming back to look at him.
He touched her cheek.
"You having second thoughts?"
"No" she said certainly.
"Well go after lunch" she took his hand, kissing his knuckles.
Connor's pager buzzed on the desk next to her and she picked it up.
"Looks like your coming down stairs with me" she flashed the screen.
"And I was just getting comfortable" he moved to sit up.
"Wait, wait" she pushed him back.
Glancing over her shoulder to see the blinds closed.
Ava climbed into his lap, kissing him. Connor wrapped his hands around her waist.
"Ready to go?"
"One more?" He raised his brow.
Ava touched his neck, leaning into him she kissed him slowly.
"Okey let go" she kissed his cheek, climbing off his lap.

Connor and Ava worked on a few patients together, a rush building in the ED as lunch approached. They patched up a few broken arms and minor cases.
Ava strayed to work with a patient in lung failure, getting his surgery organised.
Ava came back out of his treatment bay, taking off her gloves.
She checked her watch, it was just before lunch.
"Hey, have you seen Connor?" She asked Ini.
"Yeah, you just missed him. Said he had to speak with Mr. Harris" she pointed up with her pen. Ava's heart stopped, she turned away quickly.
"Ava?" Ini called after her.
Ava got the lift up, tapping her foot anxiously as the numbers went by slowly. She rushed onto the floor as soon as the doors opened. Looking up and down the hall before spotting him.
"Connor!" She said firmly, walking quickly he turned from her.
"Connor" she caught up to him outside the office.
Her hand came to take his.
"Where you go, I go" she said with an out of breath certainty.

Mr. Harris door opened before them.
"Ah, Dr. Rhodes. Dr. Bekker" he stepped back, revealing Dr. Spencer.
"Just the two I was looking for"

Dr. Spencer had been dismissed, leaving with a smirk. Connor and Ava sat in two chairs facing the desk, like school children waiting to be told off by their principal.
"I am disappointed, in both of you. Furious really; but not surprised"
"I'm sorry Mr. Harris. This is my fault" Connor said.
"No it's not" Ava argued.
"I pursued you"
"I kissed you"
"Stop it" he said shortly. "Like I said I am not surprised. I have spoken to Sharron Goodwin. She informed me of your two previous relationship despite you both coming from different hospitals"
"I am not surprised that you two would rekindle"
"However it is what comes after that I worry about"
"Between your two relationships and -before Dr. Bekker unfortunate accident"
Ava glanced away, not meeting his eye.
"You two were constantly at each others necks, fighting on hospital floors, refusing to work with each other, discretising each-other"
