Seven months later

Sahaj was back to his business, but now he avoided fights. He wasn't able to find any person who was as efficient as Samidha for an assistant's job and Samidha absolutely refused to do it.

Shardul left his job and became a freelance photographer. While he did earn here and there, Samidha supported him financially off her own money. Well, she had not been using any of her own money since forever. She used to take pocket money from Shardul while putting all of hers in the bank account.

And Samidha, she was on cloud nine. A week after she was discharged from the hospital Sahaj called her family without informing her. He told them everything.

Her family was very very angry at her. Especially her sister. She even hit her with a broom yelling how she was gonna turn the lie in truth.

And when Samidha winced in pain, all her anger flew away and she was back to babying her.

After probably three hours of drama, fights, crying, beating and what not, Samidha was finally united with her family.

She was happy. She stopped sneaking out, took her medications without a fuss, ate properly, rested and smiled all the time.

"What's my baby doing?"
Samidha cooed, entering their room and Sahaj looked up from his laptop.

His eyes widened and he quickly shut his laptop down and sat up straight. She was wearing the red robe.

She wore a red robe on special days which usually meant she wanted to have sex. And whenever she did wear it, there was a high chance she was only wearing it. It took him some time to notice, but he did, eventually.

She smirked. Just the reaction she liked.

He sat on his knees.

"Nothing."

"I was thinking maybe we could go out somewhere for ice cream today."
She said and noticed his face twist in confusion.

"What?"

"Ice cream. Can we?"

"Just ice cream?"
He asked and she nodded, smiling brightly.

"Sure. As you say."
He mumbled sadly and stood up.

He wasn't a man with great expectations from others, but he sure hated when his own girl let him down like that.

"Come on. Don't be sad."
She said and he just continued pouting.

"You don't need to wear that for ice cream."
He grumbled and Samidha laughed, walking upto him and locking her hands around his neck.

"I'm already very upset, Samidha. Don't make this hard for me. First you somehow didn't have any time for me the whole week, we barely talked, then you wore this robe just to ask for an ice cream and now you want to rile me up only to leave me hanging. I kn-mpph."

He was interrupted when she grabbed his face and kissed him.

"Okay then. I was just thinking we could go out an hour or two later. It's still just 8."
She said, fake sad.
