"Who is that? Get me his file."
Samidha ordered Raman sir, as she looked at the unknown man parking his bike in the house a yard away.
Sahaj raised his brows at the strangeness of her behaviour. It was two days after that incident. The day after that Shardul emotionally blackmailed her into taking care of herself by saying that she didn't love him. Samidha, on the verge of tears, was ready to even bring the moon to the earth. Shardul also surprised her with an extra 20 days leave. She had 17 days then left of her leave and now she has 20 more. So now, she had 35 days of pure leave.
And she was heartbroken at the fact that her extra leave was on the expense of his. So Shardul had to immediately leave on a mission.
Very angry and very heartbroken, Samidha almost killed Sahaj because he lied to her about not being in contact with Shardul. And she also said that she won't do any of his office work nor will she provide any safety for him. And that she was only living in his house because Shardul said so and would like Sahaj to get away from her eyes as soon as possible.
But here she was, getting information about people and scheduling his day.
Walking behind him, and looking back at the man she bumped into Sahaj's back.
"Lord. Are you okay?"
She asked and he raised his eyebrows.
"It isn't me who opened up my head two days ago. Are you okay?"
"Had you thought this much about me that day, then I wouldn't have gotten so many injuries."
She mumbled.
But before Sahaj could retort back, Radha was jumping on him and almost tackled him to the ground.
"Bhai! Bhai! Bhai!"
"What are you? A kangaroo?"
"But we brought you from the zoo!"
She pouted and Samidha laughed at her words.
Radha handed him her phone and he shook his head in no looking at the screen.
"I don't have time to go to a concert Radha."
"No bhai! You don't have to go. I am going with my friends. I was just informing you."
She grinned and Sahaj shook his head, arguing about how he didn't trust her friends and especially her best friend which happened to be a boy.
Samidha shook her head. She missed her brother. Even though he wasn't her real brother and she didn't even know who he was nine years ago, he was her everything now. She lived in his house, she spent his money, he cooked for her, cared for her and covered up for her reckless behaviour.
"Fiiiiine! But a guard is going with you and that's final!"
"You are such a menace bhai! But fine. A guard is better than not going at all! Love you!"
Radha jumped up and tightly hugged her big brother.
Sahaj laughed at his childish sister as she ran away. Samidha's eyes glued to her and a soft smile graced her lips.
"Samidha?"
"Huh? I'm sorry."
She apologized for standing there and interfering in a family moment and started going away.
"Is something wrong? You can tell me."
He said, holding her wrist and stopping her from going away.
"I...uh.....can you call Shardul? ...................... whenever you are free! I just......I want to talk to him."
He raised his brows.
"He's your brother. You don't need a mediator between you."
"It's not that. I......I don't know if he'll talk to me or not...............and I don't have a phone right now."
She mumbled and Sahaj chuckled at her stupidity.
