"What?!"
She shrieked, pushing him away and almost losing her shit.

"Not like that! Let me just sleep with you. Just sleep. Nothing else."
He explained, feeling as if he could fall down anytime. He was way too tired.

"Please Samidha. Don't refuse. You've brought me home, now make me sleep too. I'm not feeling sleepy at all."
He demanded, lying obviously. She looked him up and down, scrutinizing him.

"Fine."

She mumbled, and he smiled sleepily.

"Go and change. I'll be there in a minute."
She said and he nodded, doing as told.

When he was out of sight, Samidha leaned on the counter gasping for air.

What happened? WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL HAPPENED JUST NOW?!!

Pulling herself together, killing the butterflies in her stomach and making turmeric milk for Sahaj, she went in his room to find it empty. He was in her room, sprawled out on the bed like a dead body.
He hadn't changed.

"You have to change."
She said and he brushed her off.

"Sahaj!"
She said a little louder and pulled him up.

"Go and change love."

"Noooooo!"
He cried and fell back. She sighed, taking out his socks and throwing them aside. But his shirt, he hadn't changed it in the last three days and even though all he did was sit in his office and work, it still felt extremely dirty to her.

"Change you shirt atleast."
She said loudly and he again brushed her off.

"You do it."
He mumbled and she felt like he was her child.

Well she wouldn't mind calling him baby.

Unbuttoning his shirt she threw it away. Samidha could die at how hot she found him. He didn't have abs, he wasn't even clean shaved. Instead he had a hairy chest and a muscular build. He looked strong and cozy. A trait she liked in her men.

Wiping his face with a wet towel, she somehow put a tshirt on him, to which he resisted a lot, but she wasn't the one to back down.

Tired from all of it, she drank the milk she brought for him.

"Looks like he doesn't need me anymore."
She mumbled and kept the glass away. Looking at him one last time, the urge to touch his face intensified extensively. Gulping, she reached out to touch his jaw. Only for him to swat her hand away, hold her waist and pull her down.

She would've screamed had she been a normal girl without the training she's had. But it surely made her heart rate skyrocket.

He adjusted himself on her, so that his head was on her arm and half of his body was on hers as he slept on his chest. He was deep in sleep. He wouldn't have dared to do that had he been in his senses.

Samidha let out a shaky breath as her heart threatened to jump out of her chest.

Looks like that's how they were sleeping tonight.

Sahaj stared at the card and sighed. It was an invitation for a charity ball. He hated those. But because his father was a politician, he had to attend it to uplift his father's image.

For the past ten minutes he had been thinking of people who he could ask to accompany him to the ball. And he could think of no one but Samidha. Well she was his best choice, she would already go with him for his security, he wouldn't be bored and the most important one, they'd get to spend time together.
