Dearest no one,
He tormented me again today. He always does. Why does he have friends, no doubt it's cause they fear him, but still, the most foul boy in the wizarding world has more friends than I, it's hard to understand, I wish I had more friends but it's not that easy for me, it used to be, but something changed. It's halfway my fault of course, I could have had many friends if I could approach people, but alas I whine about it instead of doing something about it. It's one of my flaws, motivation to change. Thank you for listening, although I'm not sure anyone is, but if you are, it seems fate has brought us together.
From, a perfectly lonely student.
That is what the letter read, the random letter that had happened to fall into Draco Malfoy possession.

Earlier that day; Draco's POV:
Of course perfect Potter had gotten pick into the goblet of fire, not so perfect no is he. I sneered at the thought, when suddenly someone bumped into me, I turned to see a girl wearing Hufflepuff robes, no one I recognized, most likely not worth my time. "Watch where your going, mud-blood" I spat out. The girl avoided my gaze, but nodded her head.
"Sorry" she apologized quickly before rushing away.
l made my way to my common room in the dungeons to spend free period, when I heard the sound of parchment, I stoped walking and the sound stoped, I started walking and the sound started, I looked to my shoe to find a letter, it was in rough shape, the print of my shoe lightly was imprinted on the paper, the wax seal was damaged and the envelope was partially opened. I thought it could be a letter from that mutt Pansey, but her letters where usually dressed with terribly drawn hearts. I decided it wasn't worth my time and threw it in the trash.
Curiosity eventually gotten the best of me, I opened the letter and it read...

Lindsey's POV:
I was rushing through the halls trying to make it to owlery before my next class started, my mother had just given birth, and though getting my letter to them wasn't the most important thing in the world I was eager to congratulate my parents. To my luck I bumped into someone. When I saw the pale haired boy I immediately became nervous, he was my tormentor, I looked every where but his eyes.
"Watch where your going mudblood" he spat, I nodded and apologized quietly, before speeding off.
To my surprise I had no letter. I know I grabbed one, but it wasn't here, I looked at my watch before speeding to class.
*time skip*
I went threw my stack of letters scouting for the one I had written to Mum and Dad, I had found it but what I hadn't found was my most recent letter to no one. I felt a bit of panic rise within me, if some one saw my letter- no it's fine my initials weren't signed, but still- what if someone found out, what if they told other people and I became the laughing stalk of the school, what if-... I bit my lip, tears started to swell up in my eyes, I needed to find that letter.
I snuck threw to earthy passage way till I was found the stair way, from their I snuck to the owlery and I spent night till morning looking for that letter, I found it, there was in of one of the east halls, I found it there on the floor. I snuck back to the stair well trying not to be caught- well, sadly that mission failed.
"What do we have here" Mr Filch's voice croaked.
"M-mr Filch, I-um I have an explanation" I tried to reason.
"You better, you'll need one." He snickered, grabbing my hand pulling me towards Professor Sprouts office.
"Mr Filch what is this" Professor Sprout asked looking at me.
He threw me forward and said "She was out of bed past curfew, I think she deserves-"
"That's enough Filch, thank you" she excused him. "Now, what are you doing out of bed, Miss Boris?" She asked looking at me.
"I lost my letter" I replied "I couldn't stop thinking about it, I had to find it"
"And how much sleep did you get last night?" She asked again. I didn't meet her eye. "I see, and this letter was that important to you?" I nodded my head. "Well Miss Boris while I understand what you feel, leaving your dorm past curfew is against school rules, so 10 points from Hufflepuff" I nodded my head, before walking back to the common room. I got off surprisingly easy.
I investigated the letter I had found and it had definitely been tampered with, there was a boot print on the envelope, and the wax seal had been broken, I opened the envelope and their where now to parchments inside I opened one and read...
Earlier; Draco's POV:
What an odd note, really who writes to no one, and who addresses them self as a perfectly lonely person, just odd, yet interesting. Their note seems unfortunate, and is this tormentor, very interesting. I grabbed a quill and to my surprise started writing.
dear, perfectly lonely person.
This seems quite unfortunate, your tormentor does seem foul, I would hardly say fate brought us together, but I would say it's intriguing. The letter I received was intriguing, even how you signed it was intriguing. I honestly don't expect a letter in return, although it might be nice, but I hope you well.
With intrigue, Someone.
I put the letter I wrote along with the other one I found in the envelope and put it in the east hall on the way to class.
Intriguing, very much so.
