dear readers,
Its been over a year since I posted 'intrigue' (4/4/23) so I decided to post one more chapter for you all...
I'm writing this at 11:42 PM so sorry for any grammar mistakes.
(lyra's POV)
my parents love was something I aspire for. it wasn't crazy dramatic- it wasn't a passionate love story- the base line of there relationship was friendship. the happiest I ever saw my um was when she danced with my father. she sucked. they put on there favorite song (strangers in the night) for their anniversary. it was in our living room- mum was wherein a pair of red striped PJ's and she was standing on dads feet. she laughed as my father critiqued and teased her dancing, and then she would snap back with some witty remark.
there was other little things as well- like her favorite pair of orchids. dad bought em for her on a whim, and she kept them alive for month's, and I always caught her smiling at them.
she kept there letters too. ever once in a while she would let my siblings and I read them.
the contends of the letter was something me and Sophia would debate on constantly. being the romantic she is- she insists that mum and dad where in love even during the writing f the letters. I say that they didn't fall involve till much later- of course only mum and dad know.
they would argue too- of course the whole house was tense when that would happen- but after a day or two one or the other would apologize.
of course the small things they did for each other was th most romantic to me. when my dad would randomly grab my mums hand- or hug her. or when my mum would make him and her tea, and they would just sit on the porch quietly reminiscing about there days in Hogwarts.
it was evident that there love for each other was deep. it was a funny thing- it seems so simple- its a love many crave- but its a love that people dismiss. a love that my parents where so lucky to experience- aa love I was luck to grow up with. it was the love between Lindsey Boris-Malfoy and Draco Malfoy.
