Yvette's
Today's the first day of our foundation week and I'm already dying...
Like, literally dying.
Just kidding.
I've been running and hiding for the past two hours since I got here at school. I haven't even seen my friends yet because the moment I stepped foot in our university, the student council officers have been trying to cuff me just to have a date with someone I don't even know — for three long hours.
Can you fucking believe that?! Because I can't. I still can't believe there's someone out there who would pay 30k just to have a date with me. Unbelievable. Sana binigay niya nalang sa akin at kumain kami ng street food sa labas — mas gugustuhin ko pa 'yon. May 30k pa ako, busog pa ako. But I know it will end the same way as the first time: bullying.
I can actually say no and just pay them, but I don't have fucking five thousand pesos on me. Heck, I don't even have a hundred in my wallet right now — what more a thousand. Grrr...
"What are you doing down there, Martinez?"
I looked up from under the table where I was hiding and saw Miss Cromwell and Prof Griffin looking at me weirdly, both raising their eyebrows.
"Ah. I-I was looking f-for my b-ballpen," I lied.
Miss Cromwell crossed her arms, clearly not believing me. So, I crawled out from under the table and stood up.
"G-Good morning po, Mi—"
"Fix your clothes, especially that skirt," Miss Cromwell cut me off.
I quickly fixed myself and gave them an awkward smile because, honestly, I felt like collapsing under Miss Cromwell's piercing gaze, while Prof Griffin seemed to be struggling to hold back a grin?
"There you are, Martinez! We've been looking for you." Fuck. Kung minamalas ka nga naman.
I bit my lip and quickly hid behind Prof Griffin. Bahala na, kakapalan ko na mukha ko.
"Good morning, Miss Cromwell, Miss Griffin," one of the student council officers greeted politely, then turned to me.
"Martinez, you can pay 25k if you don't want to have a date with the person who paid 150k just to be with you for the whole week," one of the SC officers said while preparing a handcuff. "We've been looking for you since this morning. Stop running and hiding. Just pay already." as if 25k is just loose change!
Wait... "25 thousand?! Ehhh?! Akala ko ba 5k lang tapos whole week?!" I shouted, forgetting that my two professors were still there and I'm inside the library.
"You're unlucky. Seems that boy really wants you," the officer said. Fucker. Yawa sila. "So stop resisting and hiding behind Miss Griffin because they really can't do anything to help you."
Anong gagawin ko ngayon? Ano 'yon, buong linggo akong makakasama sa taong 'yon? Kawawa naman ako niyan. At bawal pa naman um-absent kasi may attendance pa rin kami. Huhubels.
