Caitlin's POV
Spending time at the beach with Justin was more amazing than words could describe. I was beyond grateful for getting the chance to enjoy the weather and see parts of LA that I never even knew existed. Although we enjoyed ourselves, I couldn't lie and say that I wasn't tired because my legs were killing me and I all wanted to do was sleep.
However, sleep was the last thing on my mind when I walked into the living room and noticed Justin and his brother standing in the room together.
"Dylan?!" I said as I walked in and placed my purse on the ground. "What are you doing here?"
"Oh hey, Cait! I decided to come early for the wedding. You know, gotta be there for my aunt and everything," he replied as he scratched the back of his neck. Justin usually did that when he was nervous, but I wasn't close with Dylan to know if he did that because he was nervous too.
I decided to not ask anymore questions since my legs were hurting even more just by standing there. "O-okay, then. Well, I'm going to bed." I turned to Justin before speaking again. "Are you coming?"
"Yeah, just give me a minute," he replied before waving me off.
I nodded my head. "Okay, good night Dylan." I quickly said before going upstairs to change into something more comfortable. After I put on my pajamas, I forgot that I had left my purse downstairs and quietly went down the steps to get it. That is until I heard whispering coming from the living room, causing me to stop on my way.
"So nobody knows you're here, right?" I heard Justin say. I couldn't understand what they were talking about but I continued to listen near the entrance of the living room.
"No, I'm sure Derek and his posse are too busy to even know I came."
"Okay, good. Last thing we need is him sabotaging our vacation for us, am I right?"
"Yeah man, of course."
Derek? I thought that stupid prick was out of the picture, why are they still talking about him? Not wanting to get caught, I quickly ran upstairs to the room and decided to leave my bag for later. It wasn't right of me to interfere in their conversation, even though it felt like Justin was trying to keep something away from me which I didn't like.
Ever since the night Dylan kidnapped me, I never felt comfortable around him. Yes, he was Justin's brother and I had to respect him but for some reason, he gave me a vibe that I didn't like and I had no idea why.
"Hey, sorry about that. I had no idea Dylan was coming," I heard Justin say as he entered the room and closed the door behind him.
"It's okay. Why is he here so early though? I thought he would be the type to show up a few days before the wedding." I asked as I tucked myself into bed and waited for Justin to change and lay next to me.
"I-I'm not sure, it's Dylan. You never know what he's up to." Justin said as he forced a laugh. I could tell something was up but me being too sleepy to even talk, I decided to let it go and wait until the morning to speak about it. I felt Justin's body heat beside me as he pulled the covers over us and wrapped his arm around my waist. "Now go to sleep, princess. You have nothing to worry about."

The next day, Justin suggested we should go to Pattie's hotel to check up on her and see how the business was doing. Although I was excited to go, I was bothered by the fact that Dylan nearly burned the house down as he tried to make fried eggs before we left.
"God, your brother's so ridiculous!" I exclaimed as we got stuck in traffic on our way to the hotel. It was boiling hot that day but thank god for the air conditioner because I would have been a sweaty mess.
