Justin's POV

My heart was beating at the speed of light just thinking about Caitlin. Kissing her a few nights ago felt so right and I was beyond happy being with her. It surprised me because I never knew I could think about a girl this way. Ever since I was a teen, messing around with girls was always a thing to me. I've never had a serious relationship so I really didn't know what it was like to be intimate with somebody.

It didn't mean shit to me back when I was a foolish teen but at that moment, I felt everything I needed to. Being away from her made me want to be with her even more and if she were mine, a problem like that wouldn't have been a problem. That's exactly what I wanted. I wanted her to be mine.

Staring at the phone in front of me, I decided to call her and ask her if she could stop by at my house. I quickly got up from my bed and dialed her number and smiled to myself as I heard her answer the phone.

"Hey, are you busy today?" I closed my eyes shut and scrunched my nose, hoping she would say no so I could get a chance to talk to her in person.

"No, why?"

I quietly sighed in relief, making sure she wouldn't hear me. "Can you quickly stop by my place?"

"Yeah, sure. Give me 20 minutes though, I'm picking up some breakfast. You want some?"

I grinned at her kind gesture. "Yeah, sounds good. See you soon."

As I hung up the phone, the fear inside me started to increase. So many thoughts and questions started rushing through my mind. What if she says no? What if she doesn't talk to me again? What if she runs out of the house? I'm sure as hell that would be more embarrassing than the time I tried to impress a girl in freshman year but accidentally fell off my skateboard. I quickly shook the scenarios out of my head and managed to get changed and tidy up the house before she arrived. I suddenly heard the doorbell ring and I began to grow more and more nervous, my knees slightly shaking and the palms of my hands turning sweaty by the second. Damn it, Justin. Answer the freaking door.

I quickly ran up to the door and opened it, revealing Caitlin holding 2 paper bags in her hands with what seemed to be our breakfast. She was wearing black sweat pants and a thick grey sweater.

"Jeez, you look comfortable." I commented, greeting her with a smile.

She chuckled, wrapping her arms around my neck in a hug. "Nice to see you too."

Oh fuck, she smelled so good. I closed the door behind us and headed to the kitchen, Caitlin following behind me.

"So why did you ask me to come here?" She placed the bags on the marble counter and reached her hand into one of them, pulling out the food while I took a seat on one of the stools across from her.

"I uhm... I'll tell you after we eat." Ladies and gentlemen, stalling at its best.

"Okay." She shrugged and handed me a small item wrapped in white sheer paper.

I opened it and found a warm bagel inside. "Thanks," I grinned at her.

I watched her as she took a big bite out of her bagel, along with a nibble from her hash brown. I laughed at her appetite for the breakfast. She nearly devoured the whole thing and it had been only a few minutes since she got to my place. After a few seconds of admiring her little feast, she stopped chewing and looked up at me.

"What?" She asked, her mouth still filled with food.

I shook my head and continued eating my bagel. "Nothing," I murmured.

"Is it the way I'm eating?" She raised her eyebrows at me. I stayed quiet. "I'm hungry, okay?"

"Sorry," I said as I let out a laugh.
