Your gaze was frozen on the back of the prison realm in your palms. Despite your efforts, you were unable to sense Gojo whatsoever. Not that you knew if that was even possible. The object held its own strong cursed energy, but that was all. Sighing softly you placed it between your legs and opened up Tsukumo's journal.
The soul is complex. The way it interacts with the body and mind can differ with technique and person. Did the soul come first? Did the body? Does it matter? Are the soul and body separate or one? This can depend on a persons cursed technique.
The first person I researched, or attempted to, was Toji Fushiguro, a member of the Zenin clan. He had heavenly restriction. I was curious to find the relationship between soul and body in his unique case, but he denied my research.
You shut the book with a huff. Fucking Toji Fushiguro, it seemed like you would never escape the dead mans name. Perhaps that was fair though. His name might just haunt you until his son knows the truth of his death.
Switching gears your thoughts floated to the special grade curse Yuji and Nanami fought against. His technique was based around the soul. Apparently he was quite chatty, so perhaps Nanami had gathered some more insight.

You were lucky to find the blonde man quickly. "Nanamin!" You called out.
He glanced over his shoulder, waiting for you to catch up before resuming his stride. "Something wrong?"
You shook your head, "You headed back to Shoko?"
"Yes, since that's the duty you've assigned me." He spoke dryly, shooting you a small glare.
"Don't act like she's bad company." You chuckled.
"I don't mean it that way. I feel a bit useless having not helped for the culling games." He sighed.
You pursed your lips, "I know. But you weren't back to a hundred yet and I can't put you in a battlefield until you are. Besides, it really was important that Shoko had protection while so many were gone."
"I suppose. I apologize for taking my frustrations out on you."
"That's taking your frustrations out? Light work Nanamin." You laughed.
He glanced down at you, a gentleness in his usually stern face. "You're handling this well. I'm proud of how far you've come."
"Don't praise me yet." You sighed, stopping in front of the infirmary door. "Is the angel here still?"
"I just returned from escorting her back to the others." He answered, opening the door for you to walk through first.
The three of you paused as Shoko let out a puff of smoke. "Just one." She smiled sheepishly.
"I knew just holding it until it went out wouldn't last long." You smirked, "Should have bet on it."
"Shut up, I think it's deserved in a situation like this."
"Fuck, in that case maybe I'll start." You mused.
Nanami sighed heavily, "Was there a reason you sought me out?"
