Your head rested against Gojo's chest, the hot water hitting the back of your neck and traveling down the curve of your back.

His arms were wrapped around your waist, chin resting on your head. "It would be dumb to ask if you're okay, but I don't really know what else to ask."

You shrugged, "Me either."

"Sorry I was sealed. I really did leave a lot for you all to deal with." He sighed, form curling over your own.

Perhaps that was the weight you were trembling under. What Gojo burdened constantly. Being a leader, the one people looked to. Being the one completely responsible for others on a mass scale. Being placed on a pedestal.

"It's okay Satoru." You lifted your head, holding his jaw in your hands. Leaning forward, you placed a kiss on his cheek. "I'm just glad you're back."

He was quick to grin, kissing your cheek just the same. "I was thinking about you the entire time I was in the prison realm. I'm happy you're okay. If anything, the thought of what happened to you would have driven me insane."

"We can't both be insane. Someone has to be stable." You joked.

"We may already be past that." He sighed dramatically.

Finishing up with the shower you dressed in your uniform, coming out of the bathroom and sitting on the bed. Your brows furrowed at the smoothie on the dresser. "Satoru?"

He strolled out, the rest of the steam escaping the space. "You know I couldn't come back without a gift."

You rolled your eyes, taking a sip of it with a small smile. "Cmon, hurry up. When did you even get this?"

The two of you made your way to the dojo, though you wouldn't have minded laying in bed surrounded by blankets and Gojo. Despite what you wanted, the man had an anxious energy you knew needed to be released, so it had been your suggestion.

You sat the smoothie in a corner, standing with your hands on your hips. "What kind of training do you wanna do?"

"Just some light sparring." He replied, stretching his arms up.

You hummed, "Lets do it."

The light sparring between you two was nothing less than graceful, a balanced dance. You knew each others rhythm too well, they were almost mindless motions.

"Have you thought about fighting seriously against me?" He questioned, dodging a kick.

"Haven't we before?" You both circled each other, waiting for an opportunity that would never show.

"Well there was the time we had our argument. There wasn't a clear winner but I did come out with more injuries than you." He said.

"Because you pissed me off."

"And then there was the time on my birthday. But we were interrupted as soon as it started to get good."

You nodded, dodging a hit from him and coming back with your own. "So you want to fight, seriously."

"If you're up for it?" He relaxed his stance. "You can make your way through the students, and then we can battle."
