Everyone now had their role to play.
Yuki and Choso were the chosen ones who would stay in the tombs and guard Tengen. Maki would return to the Zenin household and gather cursed tools. Yuta would immediately enter a colony and take part in the game to gather information, while Yuji and Megumi would meet with Hakari.

"Maki." Your voice rang throughout the hall, stopping the girl in her tracks. The echo of your steps against the ground sounded as you came to stand in front of her. "I don't particularly like letting you walk into a house of snakes alone."
"I can handle it, Sensei." She said seriously, a slight edge of desperation in her voice.
"I trust in your strength. But they know we'll be wanting their assets. It's why they cleaned out the warehouses in the first place. Even with Megumi's approval, even with a key, they aren't just going to let you waltz in there." You shifted your weight, "They'll be expecting someone to come. You, me, or Megumi. Not only that, Mai is unaccounted for. She's most likely in their hands."
"That only adds to the reasons I want to go. Why I want to do this alone."
You took in her expression for a moment, her eyes defiant yet still waiting for the approval. Letting out a heavy breath, you nodded. "Okay. Give it your all then, Maki. Really give it to those assholes."
"Obviously." She smirked, bumping her fist against yours and disappearing down the hall.
Nanami came to stand beside you with crossed arms, "You gave in quickly. I thought you were set on going with her."
"I was but...she's just got a look in her eyes right now. And she's going to go whether I agree or not, at least she knows I believe in her, right? If anything I know she'll come back alive."
"That's it?"
"Thats it." You confirmed, "Besides, if Shibuya should have taught me anything, it's that I can't be with all of them at once. I can't protect them forever. I have to trust they can handle it and kick them out of the nest." You stretched your arms up, rocking on your heels. "I'm going to meet with an ambassador from the Gojo clan."
