L/n's brow twitched in annoyance as the bare woman wrapped her arms around Sukuna's neck. Not for long of course, Uraume forcing her away. "Stand back you lackey!"

The woman giggled, "How about you take your own advice?" She pointed with determination, "From today onwards I'll be the one standing by his side! And I'll be the one to ease his lonesome heart!"

She earned a slash across her chest for the outburst, carried away by her subordinates in a giddy daze.

L/n appeared in front of the podium the two resided on, smirk painted onto her lips. The impassive expression on Sukuna's face formed into a grin, "Look who it is...I've been wondering when you would seek me out."

"It is good to see you L/n." Uraume bowed.

"You as well." L/n ascended the steps, sitting on the edge with her legs dangling. "That woman is very attached hm?"

"Jealous?"

L/n laughed, "Never." She glanced over her shoulder, "No one can really compete with me. A man isn't really very impressive if he doesn't turn the head of other women. Besides, you are me and I am you, my love." The pet name was said mockingly.

Uraume silently excused themselves as she continued, "I didn't take you to be one to accept offers like this."

"I do not care about the harvest ritual." He grunted. "They think this is repairing our relationship."

A loud laugh echoed through the trees, "What idiots! You are always playing the long game Sukuna. Gaining their trust just to crush them, are you really becoming so bored? Surely their expressions upon realizing the betrayal is not that good."

"I find it worth it." He mused, watching closely as L/n layed against the wooden planks, observing the blue sky.

"Do you really? This is what happens when you depend so entirely on strength. You will continue searching for ways to entertain it, until there are no challenges." L/n met his gaze, "It must have been a long time since you have felt challenged. Killing villages or unskilled sorcerers must be becoming mundane. What will you do when you tire of it?"

"Do you not depend on my strength as well?"

"Do you forget I have my own? It is nice of course, but I only made that vow because there was nothing I wanted from you. I knew you would be great when you slaughtered us all, I wanted to feel just how great." L/n held up a hand, cursed energy thick like lava around it. "You are doing even better than I expected, by the way."

Sukuna huffed at the praise, "When I bore of villages and sorcerers, you will be next."

"Hmm, is that so? Expected of you. But I must be honest, the winner will most definitely feel an emptiness in their soul."

Sukuna looked down at the corpse of Yorozu, or the body of Tsumiki, with indifference. Despite the woman constantly spouting they were a fated pair in love, that was all he ever felt towards her. There was no fulfillment, nor emptiness, only indifference. But, in killing that body with only the Ten Shadows technique, he had successfully sank Megumi's soul into a dark abyss.
