"Looks like all of Tengen's barriers will stay in place as long as Sukuna's remains are preserved."

"They fused together?" You questioned, looking up at the partially destroyed doorway into the tombs.

"Seems like it." Gojo answered, kicking a rock.

"I have one of his fingers hidden inside my domain." You admitted, "I should probably conceal it here."

"I knew you were hiding one." Gojo smirked. "Because of Yuji?"

"No...I've had it for a long time." You scratched your brow, "I don't know why, I just wanted it close by."

Gojo hummed, eyeing you for a moment. "Well anyways, the barriers will probably be fine for a little while but eventually they'll have to be replaced."

You nodded, "Which I'm sure we'll be in charge of. What about all of the incarnated sorcerers?"

"You, Yuji, and Hana are best suited to deal with that. That isn't our only problem though." He sighed. "Curses are now public knowledge. We also have to track down any awakened players that made it through the culling games."

"You should have killed me."

"Heh, that's not funny."

You stopped in front of him, "It's really not. If all of this is happening why haven't I been requested for any missions?"

He scratched the back of his neck, "I mean you've only been awake a couple days, so I may or may not have placed you on leave. Plus, the ones giving the orders are kinda dead."

"Stop babying me and give some orders." You poked his chest.

"Woah woah!" He grinned, catching your wrist. "Alright, I order you take one more day to rest."

Your eye twitched, jabbing your finger into his forehead, "Try again."

He smiled softly, "I'm serious Y/n. You would give me this time to rest if our roles were reversed, so you should get the same. Besides, it's not like everyone else is working all day long. There's been tasks here and there, but we don't have things very organized yet."

You backed away a step, folding your arms. "Fine. So what are you going to do?"

"There's a first grade cursed spirt, so I'll be going to take care of that."

"Then I can at least come with you. No risk in that right?"

"I suppose not." He mumbled, watching you walk off, quickly following behind.

The apartment building was in rough shape, but nowhere near as bad as some of the buildings in Shibuya. This one was still livable, having been evacuated for the time being.

Gojo put in the passcode to enter the building while you recited the verse for a veil. The inky darkness slowly snuffed out the morning sun, a slightly depressing sight if you weren't used to it.

You strolled through the door Gojo held open, "What kinda curse is this?"

"It has been targeting kids, the apartment has a daycare and three of them have disappeared in the last two days." He explained, leading the way through the halls. "By the way, do you remember that conversation?"
