Taehyung roamed through the bustling halls of the university, scanning every face in search of Jin. He couldn't shake off the feeling of unease after the night where Jin wasn't present at the party.
And to make that feeling worse, he had now taken Jin's place and had become the protagonist. This twist of fate made Taehyung feel bad for Jin because he felt like he stole his only path to happiness.
But even after roaming the university and asking all of the students about him, he couldn't pin down the other.
"System, do you know about his whereabouts?" Taehyung inquired, his voice carrying a hint of concern. His system was his final option to find Jin.
"I'm sorry, author, but I don't have any information on Jin's whereabouts. Jin's movements are beyond my current knowledge,"
Taehyung furrowed his brows, "Are you sure? You usually have information about everything related to this world."
"I assure you author, I'm not hiding anything. My only purpose in this world is you. I can only assist you and anything related to you. Well, if he remained as the protagonist, I could have helped you know about him. But since he is no longer related to the storyline, it is not within my reach to trace him down," She replied.
Taehyung sighed, deciding to trust the system for now. Because she was right in her place as well. But he couldn't shake the feeling that something was amiss.
Eventually, he settled in his classes as he muttered to himself, "If Jin is not here, maybe he's not feeling well or something. I should wait for him. He'll show up eventually."

The evening sun cast a warm glow over the city as Taehyung approached Jungkook's mansion, anticipation bubbling in his chest. It was about eight days after their art exhibition date and Taehyung couldn't help but feel a mixture of excitement and nervousness as he was leaded towards the kitchen by Namjoon.
As soon as he caught the sight of Jungkook, he could feel something in his stomach and a random heart-twist made it's way.
Jungkook welcomed Taehyung with a fond smile, feeling a state of euphoria that Taehyung was here, in his house. It gave him a domestic feeling altogether.
As they entered the kitchen, Taehyung couldn't help but marvel at the gleaming appliances and spacious layout. "Quite the setup you've got here," he remarked.
Jungkook chuckled, "I'm glad you like it. Because I'm afraid I would have to change the layout if you didn't,"
Taehyung laughed at his words, " Why would you change the layout? It's your home, your choice," He said as he put the ingredients he just bought from the grocery store on the counter.
