Your actions are going to impact me for a while
I know I will move on one day
But right now
I'm hurting
Im angry
Im confused
Im saddened
I'm feeling so many complex emotions at the same time
Causing me to be confused about what I'm feeling
It's too much for me to handle
Knowing I cannot do it on my own strength
No matter how hard I try to carry these emotions on my own
Deciding it's time to lay them down at God's feet
God, I cried out as tears began to run down my face
Holding every single emotion on full display for God to see
Letting myself become vulnerable
Letting God be in charge of my feelings
Giving my feelings to the one who wants them and knows me
He knows the struggle yet
He waits for me to give up control
I understand perfectly how powerful our emotions can be
They can be crippling anxiety inducing
But there is someone who wants what you are feeling and wants to replace it with Joy
His name is Jesus
He knows exactly what He was feeling
He gave us the greatest gift of His love
A love that heals our deepest wounds
A love that wrapped us up like a hug
A love that will never forsake you
In His love, I am restored
My brokenness will become whole again
And so can yours
His love is powerful because of His grace
His grace is everything
