Somewhere Between Sunshine & Storm

The gloomy sky hits

like a ray of sunshine,

I can't find my way back home

everything cloudy,

everything distant.

I don't know which way to go

or when to stop.

So I sit here,

feeling the heaviness in my heart,

telling myself

I'll be okay

but not knowing

when.

Such an unsure feeling,

such conflicting feelings

how can one person

hold so much

all at once?

How can I feel such complex feeling in such little time

Its beautiful yet terrifying at the same time

Oh how beautiful and scary emotions can be
